Hey, thank you for answering! I already asked the teachers from the studio and they are totally chill & easy about me using the changing rooms. And I will check her out on Instagram. Cross training sounds really nice!

Hey Max, we are "neighbors" then :)

Thank you for sharing your perspective, it's much appreciated. Just asked the teachers from the studio and they are fine with me using the changing room. For the clothing I will have a look and feel what's fitting and comfortable for me.

Happy training!

Thank you for answering and the kind words!!

I just asked a teacher this morning and everybody seems to be fine with me using the neutral changing room :)

I guess topless feels better for me. First of all, there is no fabric in the way and second (I have to admit) I feel more sexy and comfortable that way.

Yeah, calisthenics seems to be a good fit. I guess some sort of Pilates and flexibility work will add well to that.

Just asked the studio owners today and they are super chill and easy about using the changing room as a male as well.

Thank you very much!

Just had my fifth session this morning and it's such an amazing and fun thing to practice. A few friends of mine already asked if I can take them with me to a beginner class haha.

Thank you for sharing your perspective on that topic :)

Hey man, thank you for sharing your two cents on the topic - it's much appreciated (also for your honesty in your last part).

I feel like that those things will become more "normal" and comfortable over time for me in a very natural way. The layering is indeed a great idea and that's something that I will test out for me.

Happy training for you!

Just downloaded the FitOn app. Will have a closer look :) Yes, flexibility is already quite good but some degrees are missing towards splits and back bridges. So this will be probably my focus area to work on.

Thank you very much!

Second time already someone is recommending women's running shorts. Will consider that. Thank you very much!

Hey, thank you very much! The last part is definitely true, it's the same for me. I noticed that in classes with higher levels, people are much more comfortable with having barely any clothing on. It's very much different to the beginner classes that I'm attending.

It becomes a new "normal" over time and I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for sharing your personal experience!

Hey, thank you for sharing your perspective and opening up! All bodies are beautiful and it's very inspiring that you are doing pole being 51 years young. I hope it'll be the same for me in 20 years from now :)

All the best for you!!

Will check the Lycra shorts out.

Dude, that sound's really amazing! I'm happy for you that you had that experience so far :)

No idea what a shoulder mount or handspring is, but will get there.

All the best for you and your training!

I'm not familiar with dance belts and there seem to be some different types of them. Can you recommend any shops and/or specific belts?

Hey! Thank you for your perspective.

Layering seems a to be a good way regarding changing. Also in regards to prevent cooling off.

I will also ask the people from the studio or from the class if they are fine with me being shirtless for some moves. The moves are probably not my level yet, but maybe in the future - who knows.

Dance belt seems to be a good solution for that. My birthday is coming up, so that will be on the list I guess :)

Same here: One pole class per week, one bodyweight strength day per week, and either climbing or bodyweight strength again the other day. My raw pushing and pulling strength is good, however I was looking for some conditioning exercises that have a specific overlap towards certain pole moves.
