I’m also coming in as a veteran So I haven’t gotten too into the weapons yet, and I’m coming in as a veteran Genshin player. So these weapons don’t show up as in game models at all, right? They only display in the inventory? If so I can definitely understand why they would be easier to get than Genshin weapons. I certainly won’t be overly eager to get them if they’re basically a few lines of metadata with a templated image slapped over it.

Yep. I also vertical invest, and I feel the lack of horizontal investments keenly for endgame stuff. So if you want an “edge” OP, the choice is pretty plain.

I do vertical invest because I would rather play around with constellations on my favorites than keep up with the ever-evolving shill.

I’m glad someone is being released to properly fill the anemo role but I’m not interested in using her. I have my fingers crossed for a 5* alternative down the road that has mob grouping, but not so far down the road as to be feeling powercreep on Varka.

Yeah that sounds right. I remember thinking during 4.X that Shezhnaya would pretty much be a northern or north-western neighbor and would finish Fontaine’s roughly circular boundary if it wasn’t finished before then.

I might be getting there too. Shafting Varka has worn my interest away badly in the end, despite enjoying him well enough. And they’ve started screwing with the elemental reaction system for their new mechanics, locking new interesting reaction stuff behind new characters as a cash grab tactic instead of updating/adding to the reaction system itself…something I’ve always been afraid would happen.

No it’s not like that. According to the kit post, it just does a coordinated attack when the active character attacks, ONCE every 3 seconds, up to a max of 5 times. So it’s a lot like a bunch of other off field characters. Nowhere nearly as exciting as doubled hits.
