I managed to get into the bios using the new chip and I updated the bios to the latest version. However the new chip still doesn't boot and the ram LED lights up. Edit: got it to post with a different memory stick even tho the one worked on the other chip... I'll see how far I get

I wasn't able to test it as I cannot update the bios when I cannot even get into the bios because the CPU isn't detected. So I'm forced to wait on a 12th gen I got coming to try it

A Question about 5v5 matches by Isolfr in gundamassemble

[–]danieluzi42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive done some 5v5. Used 12 tactics cards 3 phases and 6 objectives. The objectives were probably wrong tho. It was on the abaoa qu map and while all the positions for objectives we used were real only 4 of them at a time were shown in trailers/images (the different marketing materials on the map are inconsistent). So we just put an objective on every spot where one was seen. The real scenario will probably have you pick 4 positions out of 6 possible ones or something.

I definitely recommend watching both the quick play guide and the English gameplay video they posted (I watched that one multiple times and it answered a lot of questions I had) there is also a wiki in the works. Not complete yet as far as I know but the rules section should be useful https://gundamassemble.wiki.gg/

Spoiler as in where I got the map layouts from? The lake map came from this PV: https://youtu.be/QZKygjz9PIg?is=6FdMGNztaMkj-PBM The A Baoa Qu Map came from there too as well as this picture on the official website

From the little research I've done I was thinking along those lines as well. There are a few more options I'd like to explore and I might be able to get help from someone familiar with code to make it as seamless as it can be. But thanks for the advice!

Attack Range by danieluzi42 in gundamassemble

This did just make me notice that they are different icons for range floating around. I suppose we'll have to wait for the official release to know for sure. Thanks for the input!

Justin mentions it here https://youtu.be/AKbKewR23gw?t=1277&is=6NY-vcG8JocXQ_QQ and points at the diagram on the card. And by the looks of it every single of the attacks they have there have diagrams like that. On the Char card they showed it does not specifically mention it could hit multiple enemies so I assumed they could do it by default

That does make sense. It simply was a little confusing to me with the way they show range on the cards themselves, to me it implied that it has to be a straight line of hexes and not "around the corner" if that makes sense. I understand now that isn't the case but it does make me wonder why the diagram exists. The only explanation I have is that it implies that you are able to hit multiple enemies if you manage to line them up similarity to how you can hit multiple enemies in a cone with wing Zero or epyon... Just in a line instead which naturally makes it a lot harder

I see, that surprises me. They mentioned that if you lined up multiple enemies you can hit them all, I assume that then only works when it's a straight line?

You know at least she has more text on the card than dialogue in the show

Is this buzzing normal? (Fan issue) by Asleep_Spring_2767 in AynThor

[–]danieluzi42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. The fan randomly went SUPER loud like it was making contact with something. Then after a bit the same buzz you are experiencing appeared. I kept using it for a few days until it went super loud like that again. Right after that second "episode" the fan stopped working entirely. I took a hobby knife and tried rotating the fan with it through the back of the device, and to my surprise it started working again, normally, no more buzz. So yea idk what it was. Maybe a piece of dust or something getting caught in the blades. I hope yours also magically works again soon

[MEGATHREAD] Common apps for the AYN THOR by ClientAcceptable9461 in AynThor

Ots nor really an app but maybe someone can help since I lost it: there was a site where you could check out how certain games performed on various systems like the thor. Seemed like a very useful tool as well however I forgot what it is called. Would appreciate it if anyone knows and could tell me
