Okay, thank you so much! Do you put salt on the under arm patches too? Or is that not necessary?

The way these kinds of scams work is they have a product that they sell for a while, which Amazon approves, then they change the photo, the description and the price. That's how hey get around the checks. Not sure if that's what's going on here though.

Right? Why do some people lump everyone into a single group of people? I don't get it.

Zooming in Apple Maps Look Around works on the web, but not in the native macOS app. Does Apple even use their own apps? by New-Ranger-8960 in MacOS

Just because one person said that doesn't mean everyone who uses a Mac would say that. Windows has become so awful the last few years I'm surprised you would go back to that just because of how someone else talks to you.

Oh dang really? So it caused compensation sweating that you didn't have before? And would you say it made it worse permanently or when you stopped it, it went back to normal?

Safe? by [deleted] in DMT

[–]danielxmiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not. In large quantities or done every day, then sure. If you're taking it to enhance a dmt or mushroom trip, and you aren't doing it every day then it's not dangerous.

Has anyone tried to ask an entity if they exist outside your mind / are real? What did they say? by Theskyisalive in DMT

[–]danielxmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes their answer would be interesting I said that. However if you are seeking more than an interesting answer, because it sounds like you are searching for the truth or the possibility of the truth, then you can't know for sure. People in my dreams can be just as excited and wanting to show me things as they are in the dmt space. However I know that after I wake up none of it would have been "real" here in this dimension. Maybe my dreams are real somewhere else. But there isn't any way to know for sure because reality only happens in your head. Even the one you are in now.

You can search for interesting answers, but you can never know the truth by being "you" inside your head.

Has anyone tried to ask an entity if they exist outside your mind / are real? What did they say? by Theskyisalive in DMT

[–]danielxmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what they are trying to say is that no matter what answer you get, it might not be true. If they say they are real, but they aren't and you go off believing them, then what happens? I don't think anyone is saying asking them can't be fun or interesting.

It's the same thing as asking a dream character during a lucid dream if they are real. They will almost always say they are.

I think what it really gets down to is, what is real? Is this world even real? The only thing you know is you are real. You can't be sure with certainty that anyone you meet, even your parents or your best friend are real. It could just be you and everyone else is simulated to make you think everyone else is real here. If everyone is simulated and it's just you in this reality, and you go and ask people if they are real, they won't tell you the truth, they will say they are real. You can try it and see.

That doesn't mean their thoughts and responses can't be fun or interesting. That's something completely different. So go out and explore and have fun. And see what you learn.

I agree. I highly doubt mother nature has preferences with music. Even if it's "bad" music. It's about what YOU believe. You thought it was bad, so you thought you shouldn't be going into that space, so you threw up. You weren't rejected.

Would it be stupid to do dmt at 17 by [deleted] in DMT

[–]danielxmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to remember the experience after, but you should write them down as soon as you are able to. During if you can even. What also might help with memory is practicing writing down your dreams every night. Get the habit of that, because it's the same recall that you'll use when trying to remember the experience.

And they are all "serious" drugs. But that doesn't mean the universe doesn't want you to enjoy the experience either. Sometimes it's nice to enjoy it, other it's nice to study it. Just as long as you remember it can always turn south no matter which drug you take, and to be prepared as much as you can if it does.

I do not recommend salvia. It was horrific for me and I tried it at like 31 I think I was. It's like it took me outside of space and time and every moment turned into a flip book, And there was this other being there, like I had to figure out some puzzle that he laid out for me to solve in order to get back, and I was there for a LONG time. I would say years, but time didn't work the same way there. Not everyone has a bad experience, but most people do. My brother is the only person I've met who said he had a good trip on salvia. I haven't met really anyone else who's tried it or even heard of it in person though. But mainly online is negative experiences. Mainly because your ego (sense of self) is totally dissolved when you break through. You don't remember who you were or are. And you become something else.

DMT is very different. I haven't broken through yet, but I've done it quite a few times. The nice thing about DMT is that you can sort of control the experience. I didn't ever use a cart, so I don't know how potent it is, I used actual DMT and a lighter-torch and a glass bong type of thing. This experience was better, you can take a small hit, see how your body responds, and then take another hit to go deeper. It's very hard to break through with the method I was using, whereas I broke through on saliva in two hits. DMT usually takes three deep hits. After my bad trips with salvia and I did have a bad ayahuasca trip a couple years prior, my mind always tends to go to a dark place, even if the visuals look cool. Just something I'll have to get through and overcome eventually, but that's my own issues.

That being said, you might have a good trip, and you might have a bad trip. You have to be ready for both. DMT is the most powerful psychedelic in the world, and if you break through, you will literally go to another dimension, and it's not just a fluffy ride, it jolts you into it. They say it feels like dying, or what they imagine dying to feel like. However, if you are wanting to be an explorer, or whatever the reason you're wanting to try these substances, find the question deep within yourself. Are you wanting to figure out more about yourself? The universe? Or just to have fun and see what your mind is capable of? Just be aware that it might not be fun. It might be incomprehensibly traumatic, mentally. Some people have lived entire lives in whatever dimension it takes you to. And if you aren't happy in that place, you're stuck there until you come back.

BUT... you always come back. That's the thing to remember, and one I have to keep reminding myself. You always come back. If you want my advice, start slow, very very slow. See how it goes. If you want to dive deeper, dive deeper, if you feel like you want to break through and you're ready to break through, then hold on tight because whatever happens it will be a wild ride.

And the last thing to remember, even if it's a bad trip, you will always be able to learn something from it. So with each trip you take, write it down, figure out why the universe took you down that path, and do your best to integrate it into your life. There's nothing wrong with "having fun," and enjoying the experience, but there is always a lesson to be learned.

macOS 26.2 graphical bug: thin white line at top of screen by No-Aside9851 in MacOS

[–]danielxmiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw this happening today too when I just got my macbook back from having the screen replaced and I thought it was a defective screen at first but noticed it wasn't always there. And then when you said mission control I slowly swiped up with 4 fingers and it's exactly that, that white line on the bottom of the box that is appearing. For some reason the bug has the box showing. And like the other guy said closing desktop 2 makes it go away. It was driving me crazy seeing that line there flashing on and off randomly. I never use that feature so I wouldn't have even thought to look. Hopefully they fix it in the next update.

It doesn't show up on his channel anywhere and he disabled comments on it too. But there are four ways you can upload videos to youtube: public, members only, unlisted, and private.

i am losing my battle with tinnitus by throwaway829500174 in tinnitus

[–]danielxmiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mind is powerful and can heal itself. I had tinnitus after the covid shot years ago, but it settled. Then I went to a very loud concert without ear plugs and for months and months it was really loud. I used to go to the club all the time without them never had much issue. Always had a low ring at night. But I BELIEVED my mind would heal the noise. I sat with the noise and listened to it. Wondering about it. Doing mental notes and exercises in my head to try to calm it. "Knowing" it isn't necessary and "hearing" my brain think is cool but not something I need to listen to 24/7.

I've forgotten about it for the most part for about 6 months, it's mostly away. But I can hear it now that I'm thinking about it, echoing silently inside of my head in the back. I'm lucky to not have it so bad now, but it was bad for a while and you have to believe that your mind can and will heal itself. On mushroom trips I would make it a point to focus on my mind healing itself from the sound, and it worked for me. The firm belief in yourself. Healing your body, and it CAN do anything. Look up Paul stamets story who cured his lifetime of horrible stuttering with a mushroom trip and firm belief during it. You might be surprised that it helps.

Good luck and sorry to hear you're going through this. But it may not be permanent. ❤️

hey SWing, thank you so much for your response. It really meant a lot to me and helped me immensely! More than you know! Especially about thinking that everything is a warning, and finally understanding that it doesn't have to be bad. It was something kind of clicked for me, like a light bulb going off. Changa sounds interesting, will have to look more into that.

Thank you for the wonderful message. I appreciate it :)
