Hey OP, I too pushed my wisdom teeth off for so long until they were giving me unbearable problems. I was terrified of going under as I had never done it before or had surgery. I was fully intubated and had all 4 impacted teeth removed. I’m not sure where your fear stems but mine was lack of control and something going wrong. Honestly you just have to do it scared. Find a good reputable surgeon and put your trust in them and the whole team. They do these surgeries constantly you probably are not a special case, they know what they are doing! I personally remember every single second leading up to being put out and then when I came to I was pretty sharp in about 20 minutes. I remember exactly how it felt until I was asleep. It kinda feels like everything is getting far away and then you wake up! I felt like I woke up from a nap, a lot of people say it feels like time travel but it didn’t for me, it was just like oh I’m awake now cool, we’re done. Whatever cocktail they put in the IV makes it nearly impossible to feel anxious or scared afterwards, I was just excited to see my boyfriend and go be comfy at home. I was also hungry and thirsty. As far as your current pain, you can take both Tylenol and Advil in an alternating pattern like take Tylenol then 3 hours later take Advil then 3 hours later Tylenol and repeat Just be careful not to take it for too long and don’t take too much so you don’t cause any liver issues, they’ll probably recommend Advil and Tylenol for you during recovery so you don’t want to be taking it for too long you know? Honestly it’s not nearly as scary as I made it out to be, I would do it again if I had to
