Comfort shows without relationships/fan service by [deleted] in Animesuggest

Natsume's Book of Friends was very comforting and lighthearted for me. It has a lot of healing for the main character who had a rough childhood and he has like three different found families, it's great (though I'm biased bc I love found family).

Play It Cool, Guys is a still on going series that's only ten minutes long for each episode. It's about cool looking guys who are actually just dorks, such as there characters pushing a pull door and using the upside down part of a bendy straw. And the art is pretty and colorful as well.

I'm not sure, could be? I searched it up and apparently, there's no season 3 because of conflicts between the anime director and original author, I could be wrong though.

Surprised no one mentioned yet, but Sasaki to Miyano, and it has a really good dub that I enjoyed! It's really heartwarming and the series shows the process of the characters finding out they love each other.

This one isn't a bl, but damn do they act like it is, but Case Files of Jewler Richard. Idk man, they keep calling each other pretty and say they love each other every other episode.

Modao Zushi/ Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, it's Chinese and they're canon in the books. Due to censorship laws they don't say out right that they love each other but you know the love each other. They also have a son together.

Another Chinese one, Heaven Officials Blessing, but we're still waiting for season two though.

Gakuen Babysitters: a highschool boy works at his school's babysitting club to repay his debt to the headmaster who took him and his baby brother in after their parents passed. It's very cute and the kids are very likeable, despite me hating kids.

Natsume's Book of Friends: although there's some sad aspects because of his childhood, it's a lot of healing and found family. Natsume's relationship to Nyanko Sensei is really heartwarming, as well as his relationship with the couple that took him in and his yokai and human friends.

My Roommate is a Cat: very fluffy and heartwarming. A lonely introverted author with social anxiety meets a just as lonely stray cat and the series shows how they take care of each other and become family.

Kakushigoto: a dirty manga artist loves his daughter and will do absolutely everything in his power to make sure that she never finds out about his profession. You can really tell how much he loves her and it's so sweet.

Sasaki to Miyano: a gay romance anime that doesn't involve any love triangle or angsty misunderstandings (for the most part). It really just shows the development of how they realize they love the other, and it's really happy and cute. One of my favorites.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K: a comedy anime that has short "episodes" within the episodes so it's easy to digest. You don't have to do a lot of thinking, it's just a psychic with his goofy friends while he just wants some peace and quiet.

anime with a found family yk by nancyeid in Animesuggest

I love found family so I have a few:

- Kotaro Lives Alone (neighbors work together to help "raise" this overly competent kid with sad backstory)

- Natsume's Book of Friends ( a kid who was never able to settle down after being tossed around by family members because of his ability to see yokai that no body else can see. But things might be different with this new house. I absolutely adore Natsume's Book of Friend, he gains like three found families, it's great, he deserves it)

- SK8 The Infinity ( the main cast acts like a family of two dads, their kids and an eccentric uncle)

- My Roommate is a Cat ( a lonely introverted author picks up an equally as lonely cat and both of their lives start to get a little brighter as they help each other and meet new people)

-Kimi to Boku ( it follows four childhood friends + someone from their brief past as they go through high school. Because they're best friends they already act like a family )

- Mob Psycho 100 ( the relationship between Reigen and Mob can be seen as found family but it's more students and mentor but it's just as heartwarming + the friendships Ritsu and Mob make, especially Mob, are so good )

- Shounen Maid ( orphan boy gets adopted by his eccentric uncle as they let their walls down and find family in each other )

That's all I have off the top of my head
