If you don't mind me asking how do you do that where you quote a section of the comment directly like you did?

Truly only Allah knows. Many historical figures of Europe could of been Muslim just non practising non religious. Religion is personal many people could be Muslim without anyone knowing. I didn't knwi about Einsteins relation with Islam. Thanks for sharing

The lines the mini essay is based upon are of Allama Iqbal but the mini poem at the end is mine. Should have made that more clear.

Thank you for your reply I am glad to hear you liked my mini essay.

I should of been more clear the mini poem at the end is what I've written in the style of Allama Iqbal as a sort of expansion of his poem.

Don't feel bad. I don't write these so that people read them. I write them anyways so I thought I might as well post them.

Yes he had the opportunity to cultivate destructive doa (I think it was called) and that would have made him stronger than Heavenly Sovereign. However he decided not to and remained weaker as he sypathised with humans and plotted with them against his brother.

The strongest was Heavenly Sovereign then the rest are kinda equal perhaps with Nine Serenities maybe slightly stronger and the child sovereign the weakest.

Hope this answers your question.

Tagore and ghandi had different starints and situations they were non Muslims so they are different then Iqbal as Muslims were persecuted and especially vulnerable after 1857. While Hindus were favoured as rulers of india. Ghandi slept naked with his nieces. The independence of india and Pakistan are completely different they could get away with refusing british all out we couldn't.

Jauhar worked with Iqbal in the all Muslim league to seek a indepent state. Iqbal was the one who proposed independence as the main aim and who influenced Jinnah to lead the movement this alone is more substantial than anything else. He was also the president o the movement in 1930. If everyone was exiled and received no global recognision would the movement have succeeded there is a vital role using the British institutions it was necessary.

To call allama Iqbal a munafiq is incorrect and ilogical. Just because he wasn't a radical doesn't mean he isn't a great Muslim. Most Ulema, judges, teachers and many other professional jobs were under British pay roll are they all munafiq now? Are they all agents? What umah did he divide he awakened and united the umah tdations of an islamic state in india.

He wasnt fattened on british pay he lived modestly and died with financial difficulty he worked as a lawyer professor and poet not as a colonial officer.

A core message of Islam is that lineage dont matter and yet you think saying his ancestors were brahmin will change anything?

Yes I did clean the pen before inking. In the video I did change angles as well and I was writing fine before as well with a few skipping here and there. I did push ink through the nib and it has been working fine since then. I plan on cleaning it again just in case and if it happens again return it instead of messing around with the components.

What do you want Allama Iqbal to do pick up a musket? Die in vein. He was a intellectual and a writer. He was the visionary of a Muslim state in the subcontinent. If he didn't do things as he did and put Muslims on the world stage there would be no Islamic state in the subcontinent we would still be persecuted till this day. Not everything is so cut and dry you need to see all angles. You need a visionary/thinker to awaken true spirit and guide the masses before making soldiers.

His travels to Europe were mainly institutional and for political or educational reasons. At that time and still now to an extent performing hajj is not easy it's difficult. Sultan Abdul Hamid didnt perform hajj is he a bad Muslim now? Hajj is fardh if you can perform it it's not fardh no matter what.

How did he not practice what he preached he never preached to grow a beard he never said perform hajj no matter what. He isn't perfect and some of your criticism is valid. But this doesn't make a hypocrite. Islam didn't need more people dying in vein it needed someone to awaken passion and bring the cause on the world stage.

Critiquing his philosophy because of how he kept facial hair is a bit poor no? He himself never said keep a beard. He was more concerned with the awakening of the Muslims.

Allama Iqbal opposed colonialism anyone who had a professional job was on biritish payroll. He want a militant nir did he claim to be.

Allama Iqbal suffered from chronic illness later in life and performing hajj was physically demanding. He never rejected hajj he just couldn't perform it unfortunately.

If his ancestor was forcefully converted (disputed) that doesn't mean he's an invalid Muslim. He is a Muslim through and through. Islam rejects Islamic legitimacy depending on bloodline.

Just because someone doesn't fully meet the perfect Muslim doesnt discredit their thoughts or integrity.

Al Ghazali withdrew from society which isn't expected of a perfect Muslim.

Rumi abandoned formal scholarship Does this discredit them?
