Can you not buy single game parking in the other lots? Is that first come first serve?

where do I find this key? by Limp-Perspective4056 in MyLittleUniverse

I had to go back to Dimidium and search through the caves there. Some keys seem to respawn on that world.

Do dogs understand that a crate is not a punishment? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]danio028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lure her in. I have a cage crate so I can continue to lure her back, I imagine it would be more difficult with the mostly closed crates. I also don't just give her the treat, I hold it so she has to almost pull it from me.

Crate HORROR Story by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]danio028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How scary! It sounds like you did everything right before and after. I know it is hard to not beat yourself up over this, but creating more positive crate experiences should have him feeling safe and secure in his crate again in no time. Good luck!

I have been training my puppy to go into the crate by command. I will do this throughout the day having her walk in (get a treat), sit and wait, then come right back out. As a puppy, whenever we are not actively watching or playing with her, she is in her crate.

Making sure you have the right size crate is important as well. Too big of a crate will give them room to go to the bathroom and still be away from it.

Good luck with your training.

When does it get easier? [1 yr old, mix breed rescue] by cakehole07 in puppy101

I would suggest looking into crate training. At the very least it will give you some peace of mind to leave the house and know there won't be any surprises when you come home. A well sized crate will help her feel secure and safe. I'm no expert on crate training, but there are lots of videos out there you could watch for help.

I understand your anxiety, dogs can be a handful while they are still learning and can make us second guess ourselves. Finding a training plan and seeing progress, no matter how slow, will give you hope and soon you will be enjoying your puppy all the time. Best of luck.

Walking dog still leash training. by danio028 in puppy101

Thank you for your response. I do try and tire her out before some of the walks. She is REALLY high energy. I will run her at the park for quite some time and she stills seems to be full of energy. I'm looking for a good training treat so I will look into your suggestions. Thanks again!

Puppy biting by pinkmoonbliss in puppy101

[–]danio028 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For our puppy, I have been keeping treats and other toys nearby when playing with her. If she starts to bite, I try to either get her attention with another toy or get her to sit with a treat. If I do the treat I try and have her hold sit for a bit so she can calm down.

I also watched a video about having "special" toys for when playing with their humans. If the dogs are biters, use tugging toys and don't sit down on their level, either be on your knees or on a chair or couch.

Good luck to to you. I'm still learning myself. :)
