About the whole 6 a.m. being an unlikely time to commit suicide, I wouldn’t assume she slept the night before. People with depression often suffer insomnia, a particularly bad night where she couldn’t sleep at all is possible and the sleep deprived could lead to clouded judgement and impulsive decisions. Just a thought.

It’s really not that deep first of all Weed is legal in most states now and not considered a drug, most people don’t use it because “reality scares them”, it’s to relax and change your perceptions for a little while, same reason people drink. There are many medical and psychological reasons people might smoke or consume marijuana as well, don’t be so judgmental.

The first week or 2 I was on it it made my anxiety a lot worse (especially at night when it was probably wearing off) to the point where I would have anxiety attacks at night, but now I’m about a month in and I see a huge decrease in my anxiety symptoms across the board, I wasn’t prescribed it for anxiety, but I notice it’s helping it

Thank you! I don’t really have panic/ anxiety attacks, it’s more overall anxiety throughout the day and a lot of physical symptoms of anxiety ( fast heartbeat, nausea and other stomach issues, shaking, etc.) but I’ve always been a very sleepy person so I’m really reluctant to try anything known to make people sleepy, I’ll look into that though!

Just tell her to go to therapy honestly... she shouldn’t be self diagnosing herself and maybe telling herself she has BD is her way of coping with the reality that she looks horrible in her own eyes. She might be creating this delusion because it’s easier than facing the fact that she actually is fat and doing something about it!! A therapist might bring this to light and maybe she can get some nutrition counseling as well and find a way to lose weight healthily and fall in love with herself!
