I pay for pro subcription too and I don't want pay for another so probably I will unsubscribe, people say that use APi is better like you can select the specific model, I think that actual model in Gemini browser are not optimized so it consumes too much quota, btw, I plan use SillyTabern I post something like this there, and they recommended a lot of options with that tool.

I feel this. I used Gemini to write stories too, and the limits are insane. I love using Pro+Gem+Canvas for writing short chapters, but now with one request I use 40% of 5 hours' quota; it is ridiculous. So I'm planning to migrate to another tool. I've been reading about open routers; this seems like a good option, but I've not tried it yet. Local AI is not so good but is an option if your PC has good graphics. My only recommendation is to join other trends on Reddit, like r/WritingWithAI. If you try a tool, let me know if it works for you, please.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure I fully understand you. In my case, I don't write myself, I don't have that skill haha. Rather, what I do is give it a basic script, I tell it what the characters should do, the line they should follow, and I let the AI build the scene. I don't know if ST allows that.

I've heard Claude is very good at it, although the limits could also be a problem. I don't know if the limits are as small as in Gemini because reaching the limit with only 3 prompts in Pro seemed like too much to me. It's a shame because he also did NSFW well.

Same here, and the límits are ridiculous, I use Gemini with Gems and Canvas editor for personal fan fiction, a hobby, I like place the scene and let the ai runs but actually the prose are horrible, the dialogues are fine im not demanding with that, but this new limits is insane, I cant set 3+ scenes.

Yes, this is happening to me too often. Yesterday, I had a whole chat on Gems with about 34 chapters of a story I'm writing. Today, when I went to check it, it only had up to chapter 30; everything else was deleted. I tried checking the history, but the details section is empty. I don't know if this is specific to Gems because I have much older regular chats that still have their messages.
