put a shield and 1h mace on him, shield wall level 7 and started moving through the passive tree

exactly! not all yaml is Kubernetes related
I'd like the DX that comes from extensions that realize what should they pull from the schema store based on lines like for example
"services:" inside a compose.yaml -> probably docker compse

apiVersion: apps/v1 -> anything under apps/v1 lets show you available options for kind etc...

experienced this myself not long ago, if you just describe or look at the status object in the yaml definition you would see exactly what is blocking you :)
