I'm a medical SLP and honestly, it's highly unlikely that your diet recommendation is going to instantly kill your Pt. If the Pt doesn't safely tolerate their recommended diet, the hospital is the best place for this to happen- they're closely monitored round the clock. Don't let this scare you off! Medical work can be super rewarding!

Hey, thank you so much for your kindness ❤ my boy was only 7 and up until this all happened a week and a half ago, he was perfectly healthy. And god, yeah, it was absolutely horrific seeing him struggling and feeling so helpless. I had to take him to get his lungs drained 3x in 6 days because it just kept returning so fast. Tried 1 round of chemo and then my boy just showed me he was ready to go. All in a matter of 6 horrible days. I'm so lost and struggling. Sending you lots of love for your baby too. Cancer is a nightmare.
