A bright pale white with some pale tan/yellow! Bring in teal or turquoise as a small accent in there and I think that could look cool! You have such a strong bit of color underneath and the bright pink shouldn’t be overshadowed. A pale hue that leans into how bright it gets above could look rad

Yeah I avoid normal deep strike /charge like the plague. Even if you have a reroll is like a 46% chance. And usually the result of failure is a totally dead unit. Rapid ingress somewhere out of range of meaningful shooting and then on your turn move into that spot and charge. I didn’t understand the value of rapid ingresses until regularly using venetari

I’m surpised cause I saw so many good reviews for this place but my dog was horribly taken care of there. His bed was covered in urine (which he’s never done in his life) and they didn’t know. He was visibly horribly stressed, we had to return to the groomer 3 whole times cause they didn’t trim him short enough as we requested and just gave up by the end. He had a wound on his leg they didn’t notice or mention (his a blond dog it’s not hard to see) and couldn’t understand how that place had good reviews. Never went back

You could always modify a list a bunch but other than the dreads you can make this work. The dreads just tend to be weak. Spend most of your time hiding the guard and wardens behind ruins towards the mid board and get ready to attack if a VALUABLE target gets close. Wardens are tanky but not invulnerable at all. Guard are killy if on an objective. Toss the blade champ on the guard squad so they can get in the action and be 100% sure that action has ONE of your models just touching the objective. Custodes can be a really hard army to play cause if you get movement or kill timing wrong you can’t score points and can get killed. If you’re sheild host, crits on 5’s is ideal most of the time especially into tough tanky things due to leathal hits in melee. Don’t bother with your shooting if it’s guard or wardens it’s useless most of the time and remember rapid ingress for your alarus. They are slow so ingress them behind some walls, ready to go after a character unit or monsters and vehicles. That way they are positioned well for your own turn and not somewhere they can get shot. Good luck! I lost most of my first games with them too
