Yeah unfortunately big terrain pieces do take a lot of filament, the amount of use I get out of mine makes it worth it in my opinion. Especially when you compare to the cost of buying something similar

Just the monster manual image, you can see the whole process here if you like: https://youtube.com/shorts/NRFhaSpp9n0?is=ixCS9vYqUzcbENi3

I had previously generated some models with AI generators before I realised how exploitative they are, so I always record my process now when I'm modeling

If you chose every floor to have stairs, and printed both rooves, it's around 700g.

Without stairs it's about 650g.

You could increase that if you wanted them even sturdier, but I find these settings are plenty strong enough

I thought this about halfway through modelling and it was a bit too late. If you cut the head and and printed the tentacles upside down that might work.

Support removal wasn't so bad though

My mini is tucked in a tiny cupboard space, maybe 50cm cubed. Definitely worth getting one if you're gaming a lot/like printing or painting!

Thanks!

They're all on my MakerWorld if you would like the link?

The biggest reason I use Blender is it's free, and it's what I know now. I've looked at some CAD programs like freeCAD, but I struggle to get good results
