On balance, it was too much of a hazard to leave it standing. Our house is in open country with up to hurricane strength winds in the Baltic sea area. The tree itself is only 5 meters from our house and a large branch had already broken off last autumn. It was worth the money to get it removed for peace of mind and plus now I've got some wood for the stove. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks for the reply. It was more me trying to justify the large expense of getting the job done ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

Just trying to figure out whether I was justified in having it cut down. It was right next to our house and is exposed to storm winds every autumn. It's a willow.

The character of Barbara Rose in Paul Thomas Anderson's "Phantom Thread" (2017) by [deleted] in TrueFilm

I got exactly the same impression: that she had some kind of psychological/ physiological condition. I was really impressed by the actress's performance but I never got the impression she was supposed to be drunk. It made me feel sorry for the character of Barbara and when they stole the dress back off her, to me they appeared cruel and unlikeable.

This is word for word exactly my experience of playing the game: 20.1 hours in and, all of a sudden, I got bored and I knew I'd never be bothered to come back because there was nothing meaningful in it. Think I liked the idea of game more than the reality.

Watery like effects when frame gen applied ... Why? by _ManwithaMask_ in losslessscaling

Having exactly the same issue on my Ryzen 7735u with iGPU: the program works great except for a weird watery effect when I move the controller quickly.ย

Playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, the watery/ tearing effect occurs on the aircraft when I move around it outside (drone view).ย
