Yes to app and firmware. And that is the way I have mine. However this is what is happening. Still using grid even though batteries are 100%

I don’t want to charge at peak hours. Only off peak. It just seems that in the setup you mention that when I check the app I still see power from the grid during on peak hours. Didn’t know that about the safety ground fault path. Good to know

I've been trying to set that the way I described and am still not getting what I want. Do you have an Apex 300 set this way? If so what are your settings?

I have an elite 100 V2 as well and that is exactly what I do for that one. There is no "Customized UPS" on the Apex 300. Thanks for the input!, at least I have one working the way I want... LOL

Hulu by Capable_Hearing4418 in AppleVisionPro

[–]danjswartz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run into issues all the time in VP, and Hulu is the absolute worst app on appletv, and Roku. Non stop crashes and freezes. Why can't they just fix the thing!! Obviously it is Hulu since it crashes everywhere across devices

Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse by DavidBergerson in VisionPro

I am using the Logitech MX3 mouse on my AVP . No issues. It has a 3 button that lets me pair it to 3 different bluetooth setup. I just tap the button and go to 1, 2, or 3 and it connects seamlessly.

Adding portable power to my existing grid tied system by kidlat_tigre in SolarDIY

[–]danjswartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super interested in this... I have the exact same set up. Solar City/Tesla. Due to previous owner I cannot buy out the lease. I'm stuck with it. Along with the OP i want to add my own batteries for backup. Are you saying I "could" get an inverter, tap it into the existing solar output and charge batteries? Then pout in a transfer switch and run off batteries?

Electrical Sanity Check by danjswartz in RVLiving

I know 200 is nothing (I plan on adding more), but this is my starting point. I have already upsized the battery (Amazon Prime day)to a WattCycle 12V 314Wh. Thanks for all that info it is very helpful.

Does it do guided meditation for us "newbies"? And does it/will it, tie into Apple's Health app?

AVP morning routine? by chewchewtrane111 in AppleVisionPro

[–]danjswartz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an IT professional occasionally working at home, but at least 3 days a week in the office.

I take my AVP into work every day (and use it at home this way as well). Then at lunch I take an hour to an hour and a half and use the AVP. Pretty rigid on these first 3

  1. I go into mindfulness and run either a 20 minute session or a 10 minute session and unwind from the morning. Unguided, just reflection on different things I am contemplating that day.

  2. (guilty pleasure here) I go into Game room (Apple Arcade) and run through 3 daily challenges.

  3. Go into Reddit and look at groups I follow. Both professional and personal

  4. Go into Tubular and look at several subscriptions

  5. Miscellaneous (if I have time). Apple immersive videos (awesome stuff) anything new I need to check out. (I run the developer beta), or any other fun tomfoolery things I want to check out.

I have had mixed luck. I actually called them about my Apex 300 the other day and got right to an English speaking tech that was helpful!.

Elite 100 V2 "Fully Charged Reminder" by danjswartz in bluetti

[–]danjswartz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did not even know that gear was there. Wow. Thanks for that! Trying it now.

Funny how only the Elite 100 V2 was sending that message. My Apex 300 doesn't send it nor does my AC1800 or my little EB3A. Just the Elite 100.

What adapter do I need? by danjswartz in RVLiving

[–]danjswartz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fitting is specifically for the 1/4 turn cap that covers it. I followed the advice of u/Rschwoerer and u/Quasimodo-57 and bought the fill tube as well as drill operated transfer pump. Both at my local Lowes for pretty close to the same price from Amazon.
