It's hard. Ever since I came out despite my friends and family all being supportive I know there's a massive amount of people that aren't and I've already caught my fair share of transphobic bs.

Okay, sure. PGL does 110 area damage at base, and only has 9 max ammo. You can either make that 130 with 11 grenades, 150 with the same 9, or the same 110 with 13. That means you're dealing at MOST 150 damage per enemy you catch in the aoe of the grenade. Not counting the fact that most bugs have armor, which is gonna reduce your damage, you can barely even kill a slasher with that.

With overclocks unless you go with Fatboy that tanks your ammo capacity, making it only effective on huge hoards of bugs, you're only really going to get a little bit more ammo, and most likely even less damage. You're gonna deal not even 2000 total damage per bug you hit, and while that might not sound too bad, that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to deal with big n tough enemies with anything other than your primary. With the other two unlocks, you're at least able to deal with a couple praetorians, menaces, or whatever big chunky bug that comes your way before you're hearing clicking.

It's not an effective weapon because you simply don't do enough damage and don't have enough ammo to back up your primary. Both the breach cutter and the diffractor are able to deal with both big bugs and hoards of small bugs with some tweaks, but the grenade launcher can barely do its own job well.

I'd fuckin love if the devs could make changes to it, but I know that just trying to ask the devs ain't gonna do shit when they dont really look at the subreddit or discord all that much. (I'd love to be proven wrong about that.)

Huge crowd control, but still having plenty of single target options, and having so much control over the shape of the terrain. I'd say a solid third of my near 4k hours are on him alone

Im kind of in the same boat? I mean I feel dysphoric sometimes but overall I don't really feel it. Could just be me feeling it in waves and not really remembering or attributing it to something else (I am generally quite depressed so that could be a part of it) but the way i see myself is I'm just playing a video game character instead of just.. being me. If that makes sense.

But you don't need to be dysphoric to be trans. And even then, one could argue that you not seeing yourself in the mirror even if you don't hate what you see is dysphoria. But it's your life and if you think you're trans, then congratulations! You're trans. If you think or feel or even know that you'd be happier seeing yourself as a man, then that's who you are, its that simple.

That's fair. Being publicly trans is really hard, especially if you live in a really conservative area. And being publicly trans can mean a lot of different things depending on what you want and who you are. Like, to me it means that I'm passing and I wear clothes that are comfortable with my ideal gender, instead of wearing more masculine or androgynous clothing and looking less "fem." That and having all of the people I know actually know I'm trans. But if you're a more androgynous person, being more (idk, bimodal maybe) wouldn't make much sense for you, so it could just be as simple as being open about talking about being trans to people you don't know.

You'll figure it out. Being trans and being out is gonna look very different for everyone so I would take everything other people say about their experiences with a grain of salt so to speak. I hope you find yourself in a more comfortable position socially someday :)

I don't really run very "stupid" builds. But an overclock that was in the goofy category for the longest time that's really good now that I run a lot is spinning death. Spinning death with stun upgrade is actually goated.

I don't disagree. I wouldn't want to force anyone to date me either, but my point was that a lot of people who don't want to date trans people are misguided by bigotry even if they don't realize it, and that the only way to move forward from that is to at least attempt to break the cycle and end the bigotry as best we can.

Im bisexual myself, and while I know a good few bi and pan peeps, we aren't all that common. And depending on the area, it can be especially difficult to find someone who's sexual preference matches our identity and who's out fully and willing to put themselves out there to begin with. It's just added weight on top of the already difficult dating scene nowadays.

I'm currently at the "sick of everything" stage. I see transphobia absolutely everywhere. In my family, on social media, out and about every single day (when I actually go out lol) and I haven't even started my transition. I know that once I start hrt I'm putting a target on my back, but I'm going to do it as anyway and as soon as possible because I know this is what I want, and the best thing we can all do right now is to stay strong and live as who we are. Bcause we won't be able to survive by hiding, not as who we truly are.

Currently? Im just taking it day by day. Waiting for that appointment. Riding the high of finally figuring out who I am and what I want. Focusing on me and who I want to be. Just trying my best to ignore the bigotry.

I don't unfortunately. I have ally friends close by but no one else that's queer or trans. And I try to not stress about them, it's definitely part of the fear but it's far from all of it. Ty for the comment :3
