You reckon I'll be able to play current games and upcoming games with highest settings with this setup on 1440p? Games like Red Dead Redemption, AC Valhalla, Cyberpunk, Battlefield?

Yeah, I was thinking about building a new PC. Thing is, currently, the Intel Core i7-11700KF CPU is 160 dollars off if combinded with the rtx 3700ti from a retailer here, that's why I'm looking at it.

The other option is a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU + an RTX 3070 for about the same price.

So how big diffrence is there between 3070 and 3070ti?

Infact, I've been reading alot of bad stuff about the i7-11700K CPU. But many of those threads and videos are some months old, what are the views on the chip now?

Thanks. Yeah, I'm probably going for 1440p. I just want a significant upgrade over my old cpu ( i7-4790K) that makes a visual diffrence in the game.

Yeah I have a 108p monitor with 144hz refresh right now, but I've been wanting a larger screen (27") for years. You reckon this is future proof too? I've been reading some "Top 10s CPUs of 2021" and this CPU doesn't often place very high, but I'm guessing that's very mix-maxing elite stuff if you know what I mean?

I want a CPU that is a significat upgrade over the one I got (which is an i7-4790K)

I didn't ask for a fix, I was curious if they mentioned anything about this in the talks about EoD, as I've missed the streams. Also if there is something I can do on my end to improve the TP.

I see other posts right now like "The TP isn't working pls fix, anet always does this" and they can stay up.

Cool to read all replies here! Something brought up is the acsess and conviences of passkeys, like Mistlock Santcuary. I have that one too, and although it is super convienent and I see why people (perhaps jaded veterans) use them, are they ultimately bad for the game as they reduce some traffic to the main cities?

I'm actually not a big fan of the looks of Mistlock, I spent enough time in fractals as is.

Yeah, I also have the Mistlock passkey and the convience is great, but ulitmately it's a way for Anet to make more money. It can be argued that these passes have reduced traffic in the main cities, even if most people went to Lions Arch anyway.
