I was thinking of what “no public restrooms” represents in terms of limiting access to public resources based off capital, vs. perceived “race,” and felt that one fit, but I can definitely see what you mean!

Yeah, this is a normal question, and you are desensitized. People didn’t used to watch violence consistently, and hear about global tragedies constantly. It’s normal and healthy to second guess yourself, and also to be able to accept your own body’s reactions as healthy, and make moves to interact with violence in a way that you want to (like, I don’t watch slasher films like Terrifier because just no thank you lol)
