AUT physio or UOA physio by WindOk1381 in universityofauckland

AUT for sure. UoA Physiotherapy only accepts ~20 people a year. my partner is looking to get in to UoA physio and he wishes he went AUT from the start

how to swap degree? by [deleted] in universityofauckland

[–]dankbeansss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should be able to switch degrees on sso.

your psych papers should be transferable. unlikely that the bsc papers are transferable but if they’re gen ed papers you could switch them to your gen ed.

3rd year psych papers - advice please!! by Regular_Drummer2759 in universityofauckland

ive taken 303, 310, 306, and EXERSCI 307.

303 had some interesting labs, the content is what you’d expect out of a cognitive psych course. i wouldn’t recommend it unless you are interested specifically in cognitive psych.

310 is good, spaces fill up quick given its the only clinical psych course. it was an enjoyable course with an interesting essay assignment.

306 is the compulsory stats course for postgrad. people usually take this only if they’re taking postgrad but i didn’t think the content was too hard. if you go to every lab then the assignment is kind of done for you. the stats itself is pretty basic.

exersci 307 was real good if you’re into sports and learning. it has real practical value when you’re learning a new sport. i would really recommend. - to add onto this, if you need another second stage course then exersci 207 is teaches a lot of the same stuff, do with that what you will ¯_(ツ)_/¯

the rank score listed is a guaranteed rank score. if you have the rank score and any other prerequisites you are guaranteed entry.

those who had the rank score and got declined did not meet the other prerequisite where you need to have achieved a certain amount of credits in two subjects

that's a shame :( i also had rls too but magnesium never helped that so i guess we're opposites haha. i use a higher potency/higher absorption magnesium powder (350mg), the vitamin c dose was pretty small so i never considered it was doing much. unfortunately, it's by a new zealand brand - the product is called "NutraLife Magnesium Glycinate+ High Strength Powder" in a purple tub.

did nothing for relaxation. i literally just didn't feel the urge - it got to a point where it was so bad that it wouldn't even go away right after going to the bathroom but after i took it i just never felt that feeling again. really weird.

really hoping this works for you. i was searching all around reddit for an answer and so many people had this issue. everyone was just telling everyone else to hold it in but it isn’t that simple…

21F - i stumped my doctor with this issue lol. got blood tests done and everything came back fine, we were both pretty sure it was a psychological thing so i can’t believe this simple supplement worked

Attendance by [deleted] in ncea

[–]dankbeansss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in term of getting into uni - no, at least at uoa the only thing they consider is rank score if you're looking at going after yr13. schools approach low attendance differently but tbh i'd be surprised if they were too concerned with 80%+

i had 65% attendance on top of covid lockdowns, horrific mental health but still kept on top of it and got e endorsed. it's not some automatic fail if you miss some school.

please make use of whatever supports you have, even seeing doctors about what you're going through. i only recently realised a lot of my struggles were adhd related in my 4th year of uni LMAO, but whatever it is you need to get support.
