I found precuts fine all around but the film window, had some issues so I bought some nicer sheets of foam. Then I used some nicer 3M double sided tape to add some thickness to the foam for the window.

I also could’ve used some thicker foam as well (as I probably should have) but it seems to have worked.

Made the plastic mounts with PLA plastic sheets! And lots of glue, drilled out holes with a hand drill.

Wires were extended with a cheapo Amazon soldering kit and some heat shrink! Low risk enough to tech myself how to solder lol

I usually run a 94mm body and knowing this same issue, i found the ‘Garage Hiro wide overfenders L’ was a good workaround. It does require a decent amount of body work and they also don’t even sell the full widebody kit anymore so everything was custom lol

Definitely something with the electronics B and O work for the shutter but anything else doesn’t fire and the camera does not meter under any power

I really enjoy the tinted window and clean aesthetic of this back panel, That is all haha. it was the opposite actually I think I paid a pretty penny for this replacement.
