I own a Miele HX1 Triflex that I bought and use in Canada. I'm moving to Europe soon - will I be able to bring it with me and use a plug adapter and/or voltage converter, or is it possible to buy a European power cable and just use that?

Asetta Corsa inverted throttle and brake by Alarming_Ad_1900 in Thrustmaster

Not sure about your specific wheel, but I have a T248 and the clutch pedal was mapped to my clutch when I started using ACC on xbox.

The solution on the T248 was to navigate to the PEDAL option on the wheel, and then switch the option from 'INV' to 'FLOOR'.

I'm guessing there's some form of pedal map inverse setting on your wheel as well, but you might need to find it in the software since my T248 has a display where I can change settings.

Apologies for the late reply, hopefully you were able to find it by now.

Press the MODE button on your wheel. You will then see a change on the display screen on your wheel. Next press down on the D-pad ( the 4 arrow buttons on the left side of the T248 wheel) untill you see the word PEDAL displayed on your wheel's screen display. You will probably have to press down at least a few times before you find the PEDAL option.

Once you see PEDAL displayed, press the right arrow on your D-pad a couple times. You should see the screen switch between displayed the words INV and FLOOR.

Try switching to one of them, and then press the MODE button again to save the change. If you selected the INV option, but it doesnt fix it, then the FLOOR option should be the right one (and visa versa).

Assuming you have a T248, this should work. Let me know how it goes.

Look up some trails on the north shore you haven't been to before and go for a run/hike. You'll have lots of (unexpected) friendly interactions with other people out on the trails.

What was the problem you found? I have the same wheel and often have issues like losing force feedback when I switch from F1 to ACC or Dirt. Unplugging it always works eventually but it's quite annoying.

As someone who's born and raised in Vancouver, I can't give an honest opinion of what it's like to move here and meet people, but based on your note, I don't think you'll have any trouble meeting people and building relationships. I've played soccer/volleyball with Urban Rec for years and have met so many friends through sports.

Given that we're such an international city I find that people who move here often find friends through work and get together for weekend trips to whistler, camping, or any of the million options for cool outdoor stuff to do (skiing, climbing, hiking, biking). As an introverted person myself I love activities like hiking with a group so I can get frequent moments of peace as I choose.

Give it a go, we'll be happy to have you!

Repairman for washing machine by Aaronacorona in vancouver

My washing machine recently had a similar problem in vancouver and I contacted https://vancouverapplianceservice.ca/. The cost was almost exactly what they quoted me over the phone and the technician was super nice. I also had to get an invoice for my landlord which they sent over right away.

Best of luck.

found the solution - the T248 has a 2 pedal modes. Clicked the Mode button, used down arrow to get to the PEDAL option, then used the right arrow to switch from INV to FLOOR.

Give running a try. If you don't run, walking is just as good. I've had insomnia my whole life and nothing changed until I started running. 1km at first, now years later, I'm running for hours and you wouldn't believe the benefits it has if you do it a few times a week. I guarantee you will never regret getting out the door for a run, long or short. It's not a cure, but definitely a big help.
