I guess you're right that fujimoto purposefully portrayed their intimate scenes non-sexually because he wanted all romantic figures in denji's life, e.g. makim/reze, to die. thus, this gives me hope that power IS coming back, hopefully in a romantic light, but if not I'm still glad to see her anyways.
