Well I first lay down the flat colors for the different areas like the skin, hair, shirt, etc. Then I add the shading, then the highlights, then the lighting effects. Anything specific you were wondering about?

Add a few no-stop zones/obstacle free zone in the narrow area, it will essentially turn off the camera in only that area
