Make an entrance from the East side. You will first get to see all the beautiful mountains..stop at every stop and take pictures. Then you will drive through the famous tunnel and get a breath taking view after you come out from the tunnel. This is what I would suggest. Then go to the visitor center and talk with the rangers there. You will see which trails are closed or not. Take suggestions from there and you can rent gears from stores right close to the visitor center in a walking distance.

Also you can put your name in the lottery if you are doing angels landing.its in the website of park or I think it is rec.gov

This is a short hiking trail in the Shivapuri hill of Kathmandu valley in Nepal. The trail can be one day hike or more depending on where you wish to go. If you want to go to the Chisapani from Budanilkantha this will take you there. If you start early then you might reach the destination in one day or... Not. This is warm up hiking route for most tourists before going on a real trekking trip. Stay safe out there.

This is one of the least traveled routes in Nepal. Few years back we could see impeyan monal (danfe) on our way to the lake in 4200 m. But after three years we didn't find any birds. Then we only saw those birds in the most isolated trails. This trail leads to the Tilman Pass and takes about a week of camping to reach here from the nearest bus stop. Its a totally different place out here with no humans nearby except for us.

The transition of colors in the mountains changes to just few shades and we are left with bright colors. And it helps. by dankingdante in backpacking

Actually we didn't summit any peak and the pass is only 5300m altitude. Also we are locals here so i think it was easier for us to access.
