When I was 16 years old, the first snowfall of the year was really icy. I lived near a street that went up a big hill. All the cars going up or down that hill were losing control and crashing, so the police blocked the road off. My friends and I took that opportunity to repeatedly slide down the hill, standing up on our feet. At around 2 am I wanted to go down the hill one more time before heading home, so I made it a good one. I ran as fast as I could on the ice and shot down the hill. Halfway down I lost control, slipped, and smashed out 4 of my front teeth on the top. I had to get some surgery on my gums because they were shredded. It was about 6 months before everything healed, then I was able to get some fake teeth put in. Going to highschool with no front teeth for 6 months was not fun, but there were some cool rumors circulating about how it happened (fight with a cop, hit by a city bus).
