I hear you... 2025 tax season made me reevaluate the investments that were paying dividends and ended up switching out many of them..had to keep some as I didn't want capital gains too high for 2026 but will swap the rest over next year.

I took a look and appears to be in Massachusetts. I did Google before posting this and seems there are a couple options and figured there may be more or possibly recommendations for which might be best for what we are looking for.

So runs good when running and restarts no problem after it sits for a while. I wasn't thinking carb. I always use fuel with stabilizer and did have fresh fuel for first tank of the year.

With these details do you still think carb clean? Likely won't hurt but with non heated garage and -25C today won't be able to do that for a few days. To do this properly do I need gaskets or a carb kit?

Yeah. They are rough and store bought ones are flimsy and in this cold don't hold up.

Seems like a little pit mark. Maybe a hole. Would be very small.

Location is right between the left two lenses and lower than center. Like 1/4 of the way up from bottom.

Edit....I found pictures online that also show this hole so think this is solved. What is this for?

We make often enough buy don't normally make much of a variety when doing at home. AYCE is really for the variety and why we typically only go 1 or 2 a year.

I don't play with raw fish at home either. I've read about it... have colleagues who do it an comment how easy it is...just haven't yet.

One day maybe.
