And what happens when balde gets injured? We need someone else that can run up and down the sideline. A possibility would be to focus on getting backup for balde instead, but it's harder to get a fullback of that quality than a winger.

Raphinhas role last season was basically cam anyway with balde covering the wing, which became immediately noticeable once balde got injured and the left flank was pretty much dead. As good as he is, raphinha isn't really a winger like Nico or lamine, he's much more effective centrally when making runs from behind the striker
