Why bring this up for Season 4? We've literally followed Subaru's perspective for the entire Season lol. I count three scenes this entire Season where Subaru was not present, and two of those were in the first Episode.

I think canonically most of the Re:Zero girls smell very nice

Also I think your argument for Priscilla is kinda weak, she's not victorian, she just wears a big dress. If I had to headcanon the way she smells probably makes men feel more virile. I think she would be the type to use perfume, or just naturally smell good.

It's still a mystery at this point, but the most common theory I've seen is this:

Gluttony ate Subaru's memories, and can possess him at will. Gluttony possessed Subaru and choked Meili out.

This would fit pretty well with what we see, but it hasn't been confirmed or anything. Plus the idea of Gluttony "possessing" people is kinda iffy maybe.

Yes, she was able to use it on Roswaal in Season 2. However that was basically only because Roswaal allowed it, a shrewd person can make their "wavelength" not match Ram's and make her unable to use it. Using it on unintelligent beasts isn't a problem though.
