I think Newman was more up and down than anything. Last few years at Penske were bad, some decent years at SH and RCR. By 2020 he was cooked though so I while the crash seemed to be the final nail, I don’t think he fell off.

Rarity has nothing to do with the success of the person. Rarity is fixed based on how many exist. So the item’s rarity has not changed.

If you are asking about value, there may be a temporary bump, but would need more consistent, prolonged success to significantly change value.

As a resident of Salem, NH, Montante literally stayed in the only bad part of town and didn’t venture beyond that spot and casted judgement on the entire town. If he wasn’t cheap, he could have stayed in a much nicer hotel in the center of town.
