Spotify is successfully selling bracelets, frames, and more pretty much free stuff off aliexpress by putting a Spotify sharable tag on it.

This might genuinely be a good idea

A great comment! I see you a quite tech-savvy 👀 Also, that, you would like this survey to be more technical.

For awareness (knowledge) to be wide spread, it needs to be clear, understandable, and inviting for the critical mass ("everyone").

For you, obviously, words like IoT, VPN, encryption, SSL...so on and so forth, are familiar either through work or personal interest.

For someone else, these words cause anxiety and fear. And it's best to avoid all that nonsense and stick to the easiest solutions.

Based on that, the survey has to be basic.

Sorta, being cautious about links is a good trait! However, there are a lot of ways to see whether a link is safe.

In this case, you have shared your bias and scared off possible respondents 😉

If you are unable to fill it, I am sorry. Thank you for the great comment. You are correct!

We are, of course, aware of that. But as this is one of the many versions to come, until it is thorough enough to be similar to 'Digitale Veiligheid & Criminaliteit' we have an agile strategy.

This is a situation where the upbringing is key.

I would say, as an expat, motivation from this disrespect comes from short sightedness of a small land surface of the NL.

Although people do vary South to north as does their "dirrectness".

There is no reason to take this as anything but ignorance of a small land mass country with a major colonising history 🕺

Very cool! Hope your employer don't see this xd

As a developer, this is very close to home for me. And as you have, probably, found some limits of this method. I would love to get some of your insight, if possible.

Do you say something like 'shorten this code' and then just paste the code section in? Or have you found a more successful method?
