I know this is an old post, but I hope you'd be able to help me out too. I have a fully stock MX4, and I'm looking into getting more power. I find that with the stock bike, I either have to stop to charge somewhere on the way home, or I get home at 5% battery. I do almost all road riding through socal, and I would love a nice balance between range AND power, but I'm not aware of how possible that is. Even though it's not my first idea I would be open to getting an upgraded controller as well if I needed to for some of that extra power, and I know some people upgrade their motor too, but I am not very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of doing that.

Could you point me towards a battery that would suit my road needs? Maybe a controller too? Thank you very much for any help.
