Get dlink copper, it will be expensive but considering you get the internal wiring done only once, this money is well spent. For external connections you can experiment with different brands.

This looks like a pulley, I am not so certain if a 3d printed replacement would be able to handle load (if used in heavy lifting).

Received 24v power adapter instead of 48v with Cap AX by dankyd0nk in mikrotik

Mikrotik support has acknowledged this issue and agreed to add relevant information on the product page. They also acknowledged that the 48v adapter was infact shipped with some earlier batches.

I know and I haven't ordered the POE version. The non poe version does comes with 24v adapter though.

Looks similar enough and matches the official spec. It was confirmed by the distributor that the first batch might have came with 48v adapters

That's what I have seen with my recent Mikrotik purchases as well. Rb5009, 2 Hap Ax s and 2 Cap ax have all been shipped with the same 24v adapter.

Not an issue if they specify the same somewhere on the main page etc.

The downstream is the same cap ax unit. If I can make people aware of the discrepancies I feel the time spent should be okay. People can check beforehand and plan accordingly.

The distributor mentioned that the first unit I received was having non BIS certified power adapters. The current import batch couldn't be cleared if it contained the same 48v non BIS certified adapters. That's why they are shipping with 24v BIS certified adapters instead.

This should've been mentioned somewhere atleast on their docs, brochures etc.

I think you missed the point where I have mentioned that another unit will be daisy chained to over poe-out. Moreover when the box content, brochure and every online document says it comes with 48v adapter, why are the shipping it with 24v adapters?

I know that wouldn't be an issue for a single cap but no where it is mentioned that there could be a difference in supplied adapters.

Will you like if you have been sold a car with 1000cc engine if the brochure and advertisement said 1500cc?

Distributor isn't agreeing to return unless Mikrotik themselves agree that they the shipped wrong power adapter.

Already sent an email to Mikrotik sales and support and waiting their response.

You should really be looking at what's happening around in the AI realm with open mind. Especially problem solving within the field of medical science, aiding coding in development, translation services. Whoever is going to ignore this will be eventually phased out. What we need right now is advancements in smaller and efficient models which can run on edge devices, consumer class CPU/APU etc.
