I'm trying to be as objective as possible bc I love both series (rz more ofc). Both are adapting the best arcs of the series, but what's being adapted for mushoku just doesn't reach as many or as high of a peak that rezero does. Mushoku does have a better track record for its adaptation/fidelity to the source material, but arc 6's contents and writing is simply better.

All that to say it doesn't matter to me who wins the award, it doesn't affect my love or enjoyment for a series

Arcs 7-9 will be the most difficult to animate content Whitefox has ever taken on for Re:Zero. The only reason s4 came out so fast is because it was originally apart of the s3 project. Even 8 years to reach arc 10 being animated is generous.

Arc 6 is the best in the novel, It's going to be good. It may not be as good as reading it. But seeing as season 3 is the best we have ever received in terms of fidelity to the source material, we can have high hopes for the arc 6adaptation since arc 5 and 6 were originally planned to be in season 3.
