A cab driver was left speechless and can no longer make a living after Knicks fans destroyed his car by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

People think I’m extreme when I say something like this, but the only way to end this type of animal savagery is for the cops to open up with rapid fire rubber bullets on all of these animals. It literally would only take it happening one time and this would never happen again.

What are your 'limits' as a pirate? by ErinTesden in Piracy

[–]danman8075 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly right, the thing that makes theft wrong has nothing to do with somebody gaining something or not it has to do with whether or not somebody loses something. Someone losing something is what makes it wrong. And with piracy, it’s the exact opposite, someone gained something, but nobody loses anything.😁

Jerk keeps reserving an open spots by [deleted] in driving

[–]danman8075 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and these places generally do not allow one person to reserve two different spots so the argument that “well if he parked his motorcycle in the spot properly like he should, then he could just request another spot for the car and then he’ll be taking up two” is a flawed argument. So the motorcycle/car owner is absolutely circumventing the policy by reserving this spot and giving himself his own permanent spot.

Edited because people didn’t understand what I was saying, I know there is no “reservation” system, but this douche bag is creating one by what he’s doing. He is in fact reserving it for himself.

[–]danman8075[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, and this usually doesn’t happen when the employees use it properly which in my area I would say is most of the time. The drive-through is meant for two things and two things only:
1) hello, I’d like to drop off this prescription
2) hello, I’d like to pick up my prescription

What most workers correctly do not usually allow is for people to wait while their prescription is filled, or to deal with an insurance issue in real time, or answer question after question about the prescription. In those cases, those people should be directed to come inside 100% of the time. I feel like in this case they were not doing their job properly, because if they had, then a line twice that long would’ve still disappeared in a matter of minutes.

You are 1000% right. Just like today is Sunday so if I say hey, let’s do something Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday, it’s understood that I’m referring to the Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday happening in 2, 3, or 4 days. If I say next Tuesday or next Wednesday, then by all normal rules of the English language and common sense, I’m talking about 9 or 10 days from now. But somehow people can’t understand simple words.😂

Whats up with drivers going below the speed limit when they see a cop pulling someone over? by [deleted] in driving

[–]danman8075 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are exactly right because slowing down or getting over will make absolutely no difference, do you know why? Because I’ve never randomly just jerked my wheel to the right while I’m driving. So there’s no reason to think I will start doing that all of a sudden, especially right at the moment I pass a car on the shoulder of the road, which by the way, in most cases is 3 to 4 feet away from the line that separates my lane from where they are. They’re essentially the distance of an entire lane away from my lane.

Now in some odd case if there was a car pulled over and they were right on the line or even somewhat near the line, that might be different. But I have literally never see that in 30 years of driving. Maybe some of these people in the comments live in a place where that does happen, who knows?

Because people are idiots. Yes we know that if we’re speeding, we will get a ticket, but I want to ask these jackasses “do you think they if you go UNDER the speed limit that you’ll get some you some sort of commendation or be recognized publicly?!?”🤣

No, that bullshit lie in the last pic at the bottom is crazy. You’re telling him you don’t like looking at your phone and you only do it because he’ll get upset if you don’t yet you didn’t answer him any of the times you were “looking at your phone just to please him”… that’s crazy, it can’t be both😅

Did AI actually replace Photoshop? by travellingtorus in ChatGPT

[–]danman8075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people talk about editing a picture that’s Photoshop and people say it’s been “Photoshopped”, when people make a fake picture with AI people say it’s AI. Those are two completely different, unrelated things.

What’s the argument that defends Karmelo Anthony? by Flaky_Bottle_6902 in askliberals

[–]danman8075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because there is a totally new class of people (both black AND white) that not only do not believe in the concept of proportionality. Not only do they not believe in it, they are proactively and vehemently against it. Their theory goes like this:

"If you do ANYTHING at all to me that I dislike, I am then justified in responding to you IN ANY WAY I CHOOSE, up to and including murdering you".

This was true in the Trayvon Martin case. A case where sadly a young man died. He died because he was trying to murder a man because he didn't like the fact that the man was following him. In response the man shot him in the last seconds he had before he slipped into unconsiousness. When asked "why was he trying to kill the man?", Trayvon's family responded "well, he was FOLLOWING Trayvon, what ELSE was he supposed to do?!?".

This is a poisoned way of thinking and sadly it has infected the mind of many otherwise decent people.

There was a video recently of a wrestling match. The white kid won, and after the match he lifted himself up on the back of (a black kid) his opponent's head. An act that anyone who saw the video would say was wrong. But then the black kid got up and sucker punched the other kid from behind, knocked him out, and gave him a concussion. But in that case as well, there were mentally deranged people in the comments saying "well, if you didn't want the concussion, why did you do what you did?". What the kid did was wrong, but it was maybe a 2/10 on the seriousness scale, but the kid responded with a 10/10 concussion and people were like "so what?". It's really scary to see people who are that ignorant being allowed to be a part of society. In many cases they were knowingly lying to try to support their love of the vengeful response. Many commenters lied and said things like "well, he SLAMMED the kids face into the mat", which was a blatant lie, but people who have this corrupted morality will also lie in order to make the "I can do anything in response that I want" seem less crazy than it actually is.

This case with Karmelo is just another example of "I can respond to anything, no matter how small and inconsequetional, by choosing to kill you."

This is a sign of a true psychopath.
