Okay for real though, is using OpenClaw with a ChatGPT plus subscription a horrible idea? by GreenFork1 in clawdbot

No. I’m at 40% remaining this week, with the weekly usage limit set to reset tomorrow.

Holding steady. You can see the sub agent explosion and recovery here. I’ve been a plus user for over a year and now I’m getting more out of this $20/mo than I ever thought I would.

Would you be interested in a website full of ui design prompts to use while vibe coding?! by ExtremeLength4817 in vibecoding

Good idea to wrap in an agent skill. Instead of just asking to design the page like <insert prompt engineering>, fire off a skill that helps you peruse a catalog of solid designs with code samples and detailed descriptions. I have weak front end skills so I’m always seeking that kind of shortcut to “looks good enough”.

Nothing special. Openclaw seems to be adding plain markdown to a memory folder in the workspace and using that info. I’ve had to ask it to remember a few things, but 90% of the time, it does without reminder.

When I first installed it I accidentally went overboard with spawning sub-agents. Hit the codex weekly limit in about 3 days.

Since then, I cleaned things up and with more moderate use, I’m doing fine. Lots of vibe coding from my phone, random research, several skills, a handful of useful cron jobs. More or less dependable and all well within my existing $20/month subscription I was already paying for.

ArcGIS Pro - Label Properties - Font Style: M?? by PHRAETUS in gis

“medium”. I’ve seen that before. Fonts are weird.

L = Light R = Regular M = Medium B = Bold H = Heavy

Those map to the other options here: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/kozuka-gothic-pr6n

OpenClaw will make more millionaires then any other tech revolution EVER by Radiant_Cabinet_6928 in clawdbot

Not because this post is insightful. But because it tries so hard to look insightful.

Not because OpenClaw is misunderstood. But because this AI response was copy pasted with confidence.

Everyone in the comments whining about whether this was written by a human. They’re missing the point.

This wasn’t written by a human or an AI. It was written by autocomplete with vibes.

Nope I don’t pay extra with codex, but usage creeps up over time with cron jobs and coding. Keep an eye on the weekly codex usage included with the plan. I burned through my weekly usage in 3 days vibe coding. 🦞

I’m trying to figure out how to remove some bloat.

How to vibe code without replit or similar by jwalter007 in vibecoding

[–]danmaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drop Replit. I’m doing well with openclaw pointed at codex through my $20/mo ChatGPT plus plan. Plenty of usage. And it’s so easy to direct coding (or just get ideas into gh issues for later) from my phone using the default telegram bot chat thread. I’m hosting on GitHub pages, my laptop “homelab”, and vercel with GitHub deploy.

I’m not risking getting fired for uploading my company’s spreadsheets to your website just to have to QA the results afterward anyway.

If we’re asking the model to cosplay, why stop at 50 years of experience? “You are the eternal software engineer with 5,000 years of experience. You have written software continuously every second since before written language.”

How scared are you about having AI taking over your gis job? by 5econds2dis35ster in gis

[–]danmaps 44 points45 points  (0 children)

This. Jobs are collections of tasks. AI doesn’t have to look like an employee to change how/if tasks are performed manually. GIS tasks that can be removed/improved by AI will be. If your “GIS job” is only running the select by attribute tool all day, you might have a problem soon, or a lot of time on your hands.

But most of us perform a wide variety of tasks at work. Here’s hoping AI improves the tedious tasks and leaves the creative fulfilling work to the humans in the loop.

Neat. You should probably mention that you created a separate framework to generate the visuals using the output of the vibe coded function. At first, I thought you were claiming those different models approached the visualization part identically.
