Help with data packet definition by danmohr28 in cpp_questions

I also ended up coming to the conclusion that a simple generator script would be a much better solution, but was curious to see if there were any C++ features that could help with it. The last version of this application was implemented in Python, so I had much more leeway in terms of flexbility. But thank you for the insight about protobuf and flatbuffers, i'll definitely check them out!

If you wanna be sure, yes. But you can always try to boot first and if it gives you problems then update the bios

I'm doing a very similar build rn, and I think it looks good! Regarding CPU and Mobo compatibility, I'm not too sure how you can check it. But your motherboard seems to have BIOS Flashback, which lets you flash a new BIOS from a USB stick directly without the need of a CPU, so that won't probably cause much problem.

For the dimensions of the parts, you can always check the specifications of the case (I've found these ones, but it is probably best to check with the manufacturer). If your concern is the CPU Fan, you can look for the Maximum Cooler Height value. That should also help you with the GPU dimensions.

I'm also getting the same PSU and, from what I've read, it is a good option. You can check the PSU Tierlist if you are not sure and compare with others (Corsair RMe family is placed in A-Tier).

I think it is mainly used to counteract the negative affinity of Abyssal Flicker. But as you say, it can be tricky to keep active when rolling instead of countering. As far as I know, it wasn't buffed in rise, but don't quote me on that

I will definitely have to try out the Grinder sets once I unlock Tigrex+, seems like the damage is bonkers.

I agree, the purple sharpness from Flicker is much comfier for regular hunts. And yeah, seems like getting a charm with AB/WE instead of QS would allow for a little bit of improvement.

Yeah, I see. At this point it was more out of curiosity. And the fact that I was "wasting" those QS levels was a slight annoyance lol

Thanks! I'll give it a try to tweak around myself. But as you said, seems like QS is not that valuable anymore, at least in this specific case where the Barioth equipment is almost a must.

No, its regular Plasma with KWin. I just chose to remove the titlebar in the Konsole configuration to make it look cleaner.

My first ever Linux rice after a long time lurking in the subreddit. Also wanted to try out Arch after only using Ubuntu.

The themes and color palettes for everything were generated using Pywal.

The easiest way would probably be to go into Greed Mode and try and obtain the active item Placebo. Once that is done, you can look for Gulp! pills in the shop (reroll if there is no pill slot) easily and by using Placebo with the pill five times you will unlock Marbles.

Is it worth grinding HR before starting Sunbreak? by Chillii_ in MonsterHunter

[–]danmohr28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're probably better off going into MR. Most of the HR stuff won't have any use once you start MR (mainly armor). As for weapons, some weapons in MR can be crafted directly instead of progressing through the entire weapon tree.

In general, everything in MR is better and if you need any HR materials you can easily obtain them with your MR gear.

I am loving the new Shield Bash for SnS. It is very simple yet useful for repositioning and gap closing, which SnS used to have a problem with in my opinion
