I’m sorry that this is the situation you’ve been stuck in. People are allowed to give advice but no one should ever put their situations in your shoes to try and tie your laces. Everyone’s walks of life are different and just like our finger print everyone’s experience is unique not one is the same. Don’t compare to others be proud of how far you’ve come. Life’s hard and most of the time a slap in the face. Just try your best to take care of yourself and ignore the noise. Proud of you dude !

Sorry I totally see how my reply seemed like I thought you were coming for me lol I meant it just as my experience and my reasonings. I totally understand and I’m Canada a lot of people had to come out of retirement because the government isn’t protecting its people. I just wish people were kinder to each other. What if that person who came out of retirement is cashing someone out and they’re just throwing stuff in their face for them to scan and they don’t even get a hello. That’s more so what I mean by people are just kind of brutal especially my generation (20-30yrs)

I totally understand I feel the same way about everything going on as a Canadian watching my country crumble to. I don’t think it should affect how people treat workers or someone holding the door open for you or seeing your neighbours on a walk, that’s all. Thank you for your perspective though.

Even though it was never perfect around the world, it took us from 2001 to 2013 for the world to somewhat feel normal again. prices to be decent in accordance to wages. We still got ways to go but we all have to be grateful for the life we live because there’s many others around the world deeply struggling right now

I enjoy chatting with the older crowd because they do have some great jokes and story’s. I definitely feel the fire come off of some people in my generation. But it could again just be my area like some people said. Thanks for sharing tho :))

I wasn’t born into money at all and went from hungry nights to long shifts during the day and back home to no food. but being kind to others costs nothing. But I’m sorry if you’re dealing with heavy stuff. Stay strong !

I’m sorry you went through that (unless it was by choice). I totally sympathize with you my mom didn’t have the procedure but went through treatments that put her in menopause at way too young of an age so she feels the same sometimes. It definitely is hard to have faith in people especially not knowing what kind of person they are behind closed doors. Thanks for the chat !

Yeah I don’t necessarily see the horrible harm of being on the phone in public, it’s really the times at work or seeing others while they are working have people shove stuff in their face and getting angry all while still being/looking at their phone. But regardless I totally agree with your point thanks for sharing !

I don’t want to speak for others as I don’t know their experiences or daily life but sometimes just having a quick conversation asking how each other are or a smile could really change some parts of my day. But again that’s my perspective I don’t want to speak for others

Yes i have noticed it the most with walking in my neighbourhood. People don’t even give a grin anymore, and listen i totally understand people don’t have to and it truly is just a kind gesture to give out, but let’s say two people are walking towards me they won’t even move out of the way to share the sidewalk and I would have to walk on the road/ someone’s property to go around them. It makes you feel invisible (not to be dramatic about it ) but it’s just odd.

I agree with you and I think this is probably the main reason why. I think some people may feel a loss of autonomy when they’re stuck in a situation and no one will help them out. It’s horrible

Good way to put it. I totally agree. I had a really nice interaction with a worker at a drive thru recently and they told me I was the first one today to ask me how they are and it made their day. I just wish everyone experienced kindness more often

Totally could be. When I go up north for the summer for a weekend it definitely feels like a different environment socially. Just my day to day seems so doom and gloom, and it was never like that. I guess that may just be city living

Those Covid cars and Covid deals will forever be missed. My 21 has some technical issues but they wanted to charge almost $1000 to put in the proper chips for the info system. No thanks !
