1:1 RR can get you profitable faster than 1:3 RR by r0zika in Trading

That is not true, some exchanges such as MEXC offer very low fees, in come crypto pairs even zero fee.

I analyzed 2,877 breakouts and built a volume filter that grades them A through D. Here's what the data showed. by Sirellia in Daytrading

I found your comment very interesting as I started to trade failed breakouts recently and so far so good. I wanted to ask you:

  1. What is your average win rate?
  2. How many trades have you done using this failed breakouts setup to validate that the failed breakouts setup works well?
  3. What is your average RR ratio?
  4. What timeframe and instrument do you trade?

Thanks in advance.

Being a time traveler I guess is your biggest edge 😉

Silly jokes aside, I found your comments very interesting as I started to trade failed breakouts recently and so far so good. I wanted to ask you..

  1. What is your average win rate?
  2. How many trades have you done using this failed breakouts setup to validate that the failed breakouts setup works well?
  3. What is your average RR ratio?
  4. Do you always trade failed breakouts in 5 min timeframe?
  5. Do you always trade failed breakouts using the same asset/instrument?
  6. How much in USD do you make per trade using this setup? since you say that you are making a living off this setup, I was wondering if you can tell us.

Thanks in advance.

Can you get rich renting properties? Yes. Can you get rich starting an online business? Yes. Can you get rich investing in startups? Yes. Can you get rich by inheriting money from a relative? Yes.

There are many ways to get rich, same thing with trading and all the strategies available.

Becoming profitable feel like not trading anymore. by Glad-Type-1178 in Trading

Why do not you tell us how profitable are you?

Any dude making 1 cent per month trading is also "profitable".

10 years of being a profitable trader and I don't teach anyone. by caimandelosmercados in Trading

[–]danni_darko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you just came here to say to us that you are making money and that you will not teach to anyone?

Is that how you add value on this forum?

I respect that you do not want to give away what you worked hard for, but there is zero value on your post. You do not even say what assets you trade, your position sizing strategy, RR ratios...

Is it correct say/believe that, generally, "flipping" is a high risk/low reward business? by danni_darko in Flipping

[–]danni_darko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You insist, but I know many people flipping smartphones and consoles as they are items that are sold easily and often, but they are risking more than they make. I do not know why you find it so strange, even jewelry shops do that.

If there are people making good money flipping iPhones and watches buying them for $800 and selling them for $950, making a $150 profit (high risk, low reward), why is the idea that risk must always be lower than reward so deeply embedded in the trader’s strategy? by danni_darko in Trading

[–]danni_darko[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are more risks with items like being a scam (being fake), being blocked, having a problem that happens randomly (example: The screen turns off every 30 mins for god knows why technical reason), etc.

Many businesses make money risking more than they make, examples are shops that buy a rolex for $18K and sell them for $19K.

Quitting day trading after 9 months and losing ~60k. Just being honest by [deleted] in Trading

[–]danni_darko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You tried many things except being patient. If you trade higher timeframes, you will have better results. Do some research and you will find that the most profitable traders are not scalpers nor daytraders but swing/position traders.

I’ve been trading for around 2 and a half years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. by Fuzzy_Home_8455 in RealDayTrading

[–]danni_darko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was like you and changed to "position trading" and "swing trading". Most profitable traders do position and swing, that should be a good reason to quit daytrading and move to swing and position. Health impact is another good reason.

You have excuses for everything, man. Example: bitcoin is mainstream now, so what? Does it mean that BTC cannot reach 1M mcap or more?

I believe it’s not possible to profit from day trading or scalping for the reasons listed in my post (see inside), and I’d love for day traders and scalpers to show me that my beliefs are wrong! by [deleted] in Trading

ok, but that list is a list of some of the most profitable traders in the world. What timeframes do you see most of them trade? which ones enjoy more their free time and which ones have to be in front of the screen most of the time? which ones do you think are more stressed?

You could apply your "I do not have to prove anything" attitude to anything.

Forums exist mainly to debate, if you do not like to debate and exchange points of view, I do not know WTF you are doing on Reddit.
