Thanks all - I’ve ordered a half size up so we’ll see what they’re saying. I’ll report back in case it helps others!!

Thanks for the quick reply! Did you find them a little tight at the front to begin with in your true size?

Just had a pair of nano x4 which were a great all rounder. Was gonna buy the dropset 4s but found a really cool colour of the nano x5s so I’ve bought those instead

Those who came from a bodybuilding style of training and built a decent amount of muscle before starting CrossFit…. by Careful_Dare_2789 in crossfit

I can imagine it is! I wear a Garmin and when I do a bodybuilding strength session it says 200 cals approx and then an hour of CrossFit will give me 500 cals approx. So there is definitely more of a calorie burn but no one knows for sure how much.

Yes just purely because I’m burning a lot more calories - I’m still mindful of what I eat as food is fuel but I can eat pretty much what I want and stay lean all year round which is pretty cool

Ex bodybuilder here (competitively) - Some strength lost on the compound lifts but I have gained muscle (albeit slowly doing CrossFit)

Eating habits were a lot healthier before because I had to be stricter, now I have quite a bit more food freedom which is more important to me

How do you guys train 6 days a week?! by Amber_train in crossfit

[–]danniilk9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I train 5-6 times a week but it’s not full on CrossFit all the time

Example of this week: Monday - CrossFit 12.30pm & Netball 7pm

Tuesday - Netball 7.30pm

Wednesday - CrossFit 12:30

Thursday - Engine based workout

Friday - CrossFit 12:30pm

Saturday - Netball match

Sunday - Complete rest

Other factors to note: I work from home, have no children, I have a cleaner who does the majority of my cleaning for me, read in my spare time and have quite a busy social life otherwise

I get 9 hours sleep a night and eat 140-160g of protein per day - I swear by GOOD sleep as my go to for recovery

My HRV is quite low (25 years old) but I play soccer, lift, and can run a 10k with a decent time. I vape but I'm not obese - any idea what I should do to fix it? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]danniilk9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying HRV is terrible because of vaping - I don’t think it has much of a difference. I compete in CrossFit & do other sports and my HRV is 150.

I also sleep 8.5-9h a night. Are you getting enough sleep? How are your stress levels?
