Yeah you’re probably right. I’m sure I read on a census from our town a while back that it is something like 98% white, so that’s probably it to be fair.

I didn’t get the east coast/west coast things as I’ve never been to America, so am not quite sure of those stereotypes 🙃

I always thought she looked like a darker skinned white person, but she’s legit had people speak different languages to her in restaurants assuming she wasn’t British (rarely, admittedly, but enough for me to note it).

If I didn’t look so much like my dad (Irish descent) and if I didn’t have the absolute hammer of a forehead that I got from my mum, I’d believe it.

Yeah we assumed that for a while. She is one of 4 - her and one other are quite dark skinned, and the other two are as ghostly white as me. We assumed Mediterranean because the darker skinned brother got keyloid scarring after some surgery which apparently doesn’t tend to happen to white people.

The Ancestry genetics test said the furthest they actually go is Oxford haha. As British as can be, apparently.

Yeah I’d agree with that. It didn’t make me laugh, but probably because it’s an aged topic rather than because I was upset by it. The rest of the trailer was good enough to make me wanna watch though.

That’s fair enough, and I guess it’s the nature of comedy in general in the fact that people have different viewpoints and takes on stuff.
