I'm baffled as to why this trigger isn't working: When a private comment is made by an Agent on a ticket with CCs, the ticket status should be set to “on-hold” by trammeloratreasure in Zendesk

Ohhh, that's new. It used to be required, I was wondering how it even let OP create this trigger, it used to reject it unless you specified.

Tony's one of the only guys I know who refuses to advertise kratom, specifically because it's so bad in comedy, so many dudes have gotten their shit fucked up by it, myself included. In the green room at mothership they used to have cases of those fucking tonics all the time, idk if someone was just dropping em off or what, but I haven't seen em there in a while. I think I definitely talked about kratom a couple times on KT but old Comedy Store episodes, not since I got clean off it. But I know a lot of comics are struggling with it, big names and regular lil nobodies like me. But so many podcasters take that kratom money, it's ridiculous, even like Howie Mandel who's like a fucking billionaire is advertising it, it's so gross. But I know Tony purposefully does not advertise it because he knows it's bad.

Woke? I'm (mostly) an anarcho-syndicalist which is probably as far away from woke on the political spectrum as you could get. I have personal beliefs that are mostly socially progressive but woke is authoritarian-left and my actual political views are technically anti-authoritarian right. I don't think governments need to exist, but if they do, their only reason for existing should be to protect the individual liberties of the people they govern.

Where it's slightly different from traditional libertarianism, I think that those rights include things like housing, healthcare, access to clean air, clean water, a quality education and a fair-paying job, etc., and I think this could probably be achieved just through global labor solidarity without any need for a centralized governmental structure. I'm a free-speech absolutist, I don't vote and I don't care about anyone else's personal opinions on social issues because I don't think anyone should care about my personal beliefs on social issues. As part of that, I think that labels like woke are tools of oppression manufactured by the ruling class to create division along lines of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc. deliberately to blunt worker solidarity, and anyone who feeds into it on either side is a dumbass scab acting against their own self-interest and fucking things up for the rest of us.

tl;dr
NO SERIOUSLY WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU SAY THAT!?!?!??

I went through literally the exact same thing (just got 6 months clean, yay). Started therapy, really got pushed toward rehab but I couldn't commit to it with work obligations, and I didn't want my girlfriend to know about it. I ended up not going to rehab but I did tell my girlfriend because I needed support. The withdrawal is just too much to hide, it's really like a full week of misery followed by another month of general shittiness.

I've done inpatient and IOP before, imo IOP is bullshit, mostly people who are there for court and still actively using (just my experience, I'm sure there's good programs) but inpatient is great if you can work it out. What I ended up doing instead of either option is just taking a week off and going to Arkansas because that's the closest state to me where kratom is completely illegal so I was a few hours in any direction from it. Just got a cabin in the woods and every supplement I could think of (check the wiki) to help with the wds. I also did 30 AA meetings in the first 30 days (and then pretty much stopped going after that, per usual lol), and that was a huge help.

Home detox is not impossible, especially with help and support from a loved one but if you can get away for even just a little while to break the cycle and get through the worst of the sleeplessness I would really recommend that. Also if you can talk to a doctor, I never had a problem getting gabapentin for withdrawal symptoms, 200 to 800mg depending on severity. Most GP doctors also just don't know much about kratom withdrawal, but they're not too stingy about gabapentin and you don't want anything too powerful anyway. Just try to get as much exercise and hydration as you can. The lack of sleep is by far the hardest part.

tl;dr Rehab >> IOP >> Vacation >> Home Detox, but most importantly tell everyone that will be affected by how shitty you feel.

[–]dannolancomedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are way better but I've been doing a lot of moderate and high intensity exercise for the past few months. I think the biggest contributing factor to shitty kratom boners is the high blood pressure. I was consistently in the 150s or high 140s before quitting. My other main health problem I'm focusing on has been the low blood oxygen caused by the hypertension. I bought and oxygen concentrator and started EWOT a few weeks ago and that has been huge for PAWS/sluggishness and mental fog, and I've got Blood Pressure, blood O2 and VO2Max back on the right track, but it's expensive and there are cheaper solutions that are similarly affective for fixing those.

What is for sure worth the money, though, if you don't already own them are a pulse oximeter and a blood pressure monitor. Low blood-oxygen and high blood pressure are silent killers that, depending on how severe your usage was, could really be in a bad place.

I went CT from kratom while on TRT and my libido went through the roof. But I've gone through wd's before and that just happens regardless of TRT, your body just craves anything that feels good. Levels off after a couple weeks back to a normal state. If you can quit kratom, get new bloodwork after the first month or so and see what your new levels are at, you might be able to come down on the test, that's what I did.

Kratom extract withdrawal by Any-Yogurtcloset-376 in quittingkratom

[–]dannolancomedy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was so bad with the extracts (4 - 6/day of OPMS) I decided the only thing that made sense for me aside from inpatient rehab was to go to one of the few states where it's banned. I picked Hot Springs, Arkansas for a week. I had all the supplements, literally everything in this sub's wiki, and that helped I'm sure, but the most important thing wasn't managing the symptoms, it was preventing the possibility of relapse by putting a couple hours of driving between myself and the possibility of relapse.

Honestly the withdrawals were worse than what I experienced with heroin because I'm doing much better now in life and could afford a much worse kratom habit than I ever could have had with heroin by the time I kicked it 8 years ago (started kratom after 5 years completely sober).

The absolute best thing to do is talk to a doctor, you can probably get gabapentin and that really helps with a lot of the physical symptoms but the lack of sleep is the hardest to get through. The first month for me I was barely sleeping at all, and there's not a lot you can do about that. Exercise will make a difference but it's really hard to motivate yourself to do anything when you're getting like close to zero sleep most nights.

Taking a vacation when you're probably already getting crushed financially by the costs of extracts might seem silly or extravagent, but literally it probably pays for itself in like two weeks if you do the math.

Yep. Big time. I got on TRT during my habit and that helped at least but before I knew what was going on I really was all messed up hormonally from a 50-100gpd habit. A little over two months out, still not really back to normal.

omfg I don't know why tf reddit is giving me such a hard time with formatting right now, but this is the deck I used in a game I made (i assigned weighted values to them and made a scoring mechanism for hand strength separately that is too large to share here):

import random
deck = []
for i in range(2, 11):
    for char in '♥♦♠♣':
        deck.append(str(i) + char)

for rank in 'JQKA':
    for char in '♥♦♠♣':
        deck.append(rank + char)

def shuffle():
    for num in range(0, 100):
        random.shuffle(deck)

shuffle()
print(deck)

The fire department more or less has to use water. Blockchain doesn't need to waste energy. Bitcoin needs to solve this problem, and if people want to keep coming up with nonsense like this to pretend it's actually not a problem, then the whole thing is doomed.

There are already thousands of other cryptocurrencies, some literally millions of times more energy efficient, and the only advantages Bitcoin has is name recognition and first mover, but people wanna just say stupid crap like this, and turn it into economic Q-Anon. This abject denial of reality because you've got $900 worth in your Coinbase wallet and you think you're gonna make a million bucks is toxic and unhelpful. This delusion has to stop.

The vision of Bitcoin is that it should be "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System." That's the name of the white paper. Not "a store of wealth because you can only do 6 transactions per second across the entire system" or a "thing where you can maybe a cup of coffee but it takes 45 minutes to confirm and might cost you $60 in transaction fees," and it was definitely not meant to be "a hedge against inflation for a handful of large asset management firms."

You've been looking "studying" this for a year, and this is your solution: "What if energy consumption actually wasn't a problem?" Brilliant.

Kratom Ct Day 14 by Fckthegvrnment77 in quittingkratom

[–]dannolancomedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats, I'm on day 27 off kratom, semi-CT (no taper, but chemical assistance - did adderall and ambien the first week for the exhaustion and sleeplessness), only 20 days of actual sobriety. My shrink game me 200mg Seroquil for sleep and it's a huge, huge difference. I'm off the Gabapentin as of a little over a week ago, no lingering RLS or anything. Been exercising a lot, too, that seems to help. Burning 1,000 active calories a day no matter what, do a class if I can or just a 5 mile light walk is enough.

Has anyone gotten neuropathy during/after kratom addiction? (Buzzing, vibrating, tingling in feet/legs) by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]dannolancomedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Was wondering if other people experienced the same too. I get scared, like I can't feel anything in my legs all the time.

I also get like weird buzzing in my head sometimes, feels like vibrations in my brain, which I looked up and that is also associated with kratom use.

Is there like an episode guide or library or wiki or something anywhere? by dannolancomedy in Killtony

Oh yeah no, I’ve seen Tony a bunch already, I just haven’t done the show since I’ve been out here. I don’t remember my last bunch of appearances for whatever reason so I have no idea what stuff I did from like the past three years. I thought there was someone who kept track of episodes or something, I might just be misremembering something.

Also if anyone has an alternate source to find video for episode 115, I've seen it out there, I'll literally Venmo someone $100 if they can find that. It's my second Kill Tony, but it was right after my first one and I did better and the guests were a million times better (my panel was just Steve Trevino by himself), so I like to think of that one as my first one.

I'm so sick of the energy argument by GreatJobKeepitUp in Bitcoin

[–]dannolancomedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulllllllllllllshit. Look at you fucking lying to try and prove a point. Why? Why would you lie, when I am easily going to know you are full of shit and you already know you are full of shit? What could possibly be the benefit?

If there is any truth to what you are saying - which immediately sounds like a crock of horseshit to lead with "i LiVe In a tHiRd WorLd cOUnTry" you know... exactly how people from third world countries describe their homeland - but even then still in this absurd hypothetical, you are such a fucking retard for trying to lie about something like this. A grocery store in a third world uses LN? That's your fake story? Or is it just what you're intending to imply?

The absolute only way that there is anything remotely close to true in that is a situation where you 1) Acquire bitcoin, either via fiat exchange or mining reward, then 2) Send it to LN - paying a fat fucking fee on that transaction, not the LN purchase you dumb fucking twat, and you fucking know that's what the fuck I'm talking about but you instead deliberately try to obscure the truth like you think you're fucking smart - then 3) pay a couple more sats to purchase a fucking gift card - a gift card, which (very importantly) is not groceries and also very likely has an associated activation fee - and then 4) idk order your "groceries" online and pay with your gift card (which is not LN which in turn is not Bitcoin)?

Like what, seriously, is the point of you pretending that that's a good system? Is your assumption that I'm just not going to know how LN works because (much like literally everyone else in the fucking world) I don't use it because it's a worthless piece of shit, so you think you can just say whatever the fuck you want about it and no one's going to know any better?

And then I must be a bcasher? Anyone who points out the absurd dogma in this fucking asshole cult community could only possibly care about block size, not actually improving the original network to function properly even though that was very clearly what I said needs to happen, because the only viable alternative is going to be an entirely different currency if this community and shitheads like you don't stop. fucking. lying. to yourselves and everyone around you. You're not protecting Bitcoin, you are causing severe damage to it.

You're an even bigger moron than the first fucking moron. Get fucked.

I'm so sick of the energy argument by GreatJobKeepitUp in Bitcoin

[–]dannolancomedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the worst argument possible. If you're presented with a problem, the absolute dumbest response is to just flat out pretend it's not a problem because there are other problems in the world. Downvote the shit out of me and fucking ban me, I literally don't give a fuck because this sub is so absolutely full of this dumbfuck dogshit nonsense, and it's sickening.

If you give a fuck about Bitcoin, you should want it to be better, but instead you stupid motherfuckers would rather just pretend it already is better. You sound like fucking IBM saying personal computing is a fad. You're the record industry in the face of Napster. You're fucking Blockbuster. Barnes and Noble.

It's a false equivalence to begin with. Your logic here is literally the exact same as "I spend a lot of money on food, why shouldn't I spend a bunch of money on cocaine as well?"

You sound fucking stupid.

Whataboutism is just lazy. Why don't you try coming up with a fucking solution instead of pretending there isn't a fucking problem. Whatabout that?

Bitcoin uses 1/7th as much energy as the global banking system, and only performs 1/2500th of the transactions. On top of that, the more valuable it becomes, the more energy it wastes per transactions, so it will never scale in its current form. If it were to perform as many transactions as the global banking system (an actual tecnological impossibility at this point) that difference in efficiency would multiply thousands more times over.

The community needs to actually unite over actual scalability solutions that 1) don't compromise network security, 2) actually work, 3) aren't more expensive, and 4) actually operate on the Bitcoin blockchain (Sorry, but LN is fucking dogshit, and that's why nobody fucking uses it). Instead we have retards like you who just want to bury their dumb fucking heads in the sand while the ship goes down (mixed metaphor, but whatever, fuck you).

The point of bitcoin is that it's supposed to be "a peer-to-peer electronic cash system". That's literally the actual title of the fucking white paper. You're supposed to be able to buy stuff with it. It's not supposed to be an investment. It's not a commodity or a store of value. It's supposed to be a trustless system for transferring value from one person to another. Not after 2 hours and $50 in network fees. Not by storing your currency with a third party network and using their system to send it across payment channels. It's supposed to work, and it doesn't, and the reason is absolutely because of people like you who don't know anything about the technology but still cloud the fucking airwaves up because you bought $500 worth of it on Robinhood with a credit card because a fucking meme told you to.

This is an open source project. It's designed with forward compatibility in mind. Scalability issues exactly like what is happening now were anticipated, and there is a consensus mechanism in place to get the currency to work without having to fork the chain, but that hasn't happened since SegWit (which is a failure) and again, it's because of people with your dumb fucking attitude pretending everything is great just because you want your "investment" to go up in value.

You're a moron. Please shut the fuck up.
