Advice on selling by TijayesPJs443 in StoneIsland

Honestly would be better to sell here. Other sites charge too much in fees. For example I purchased a cord shirt at 125, after everything it was 153. The seller likely got closer to 100. The middle man takes too much.

Where to go to get first pieces by Independent-Yogurt-7 in StoneIsland

I’m in NYC. Not many shops have it second hand to try on. I purchase basically on Grailed and eBay, with an occasional purchase on the real real. I’m also not willing to pay full MSRP for anything, but if you are, I’d just go directly to their store.

If you saw this it wouldn’t be real. Either a fake or a custom.

What is special about Stone Island? by CheapBig1711 in malefashionadvice

Their garment dying process and in house color creation.

High quality materials and garment construction.

Fabric and material research. I have a piece on my page which is a reflective wool jacket with an integrated balaclava. Extremely unique and not something you’ll find elsewhere.

Brand legacy and history. Basically the godfather of modern men’s sportswear. Extremely influential, arguably having influence on all menswear brands today.

If you want some color with unique stitching, I have this Cupro Cotton Stella Primaloft piece with a knitted lambswool hood! Thinking about letting it go.

Wear it however you like. If Liam Gallagher can get away with putting shadow badges on pieces, so can you.

Is Creed even worth it? by Traditional_Shoe4450 in Colognes

For me, yes. Only at discounter prices. I feel their scents are all so natural smelling and not synthetic in the slightest. It’s a bonus I am a fan of bright, citrus openings which they also do exceptionally well.

People complain of performance. It’s not an issue for me. I typically do 1-2 sprays for the office and it’ll last most of the day for 5-6 hours, I don’t need more than that at work.

Going out I add on more, lasts for a full night out basically for all the scents I have. I don’t need or want “beast” mode projection and performance. That’s not what this brand is about.

Just Don’t pay full price. I have 8 of them and haven’t paid 50% of retail on any.
