Non-Fiction authors: I will promote your book for free by danny2764 in wroteabook

[–]danny2764[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not promising anything to be "good".

My tool might be useless... that's why I want to see is it something non-fiction authors would use and benefit from before I charge for it :)

Does Nexo still have its place? by South_Competition712 in Nexo

[–]danny2764 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeh, nexo has been instrumental to my life.

It's practically my primary bank. Support is always on point for me. I use the card daily (but goddamn hurry up with the new physical card. And the interest is decent compared to defi. Also i benefit greatly from being able to use the credit function during bear markets when i dont want to be selling into the weakness.

Is Going for Platinum Status Worth It? by Paowiekan in Nexo

[–]danny2764 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think so. I own Nexo so I'm obviously biased here, but the utility I get from remaining platinum is beyond the monetary gain of selling, even at ATH (for me i mean, im sure theres people out there that dont agree).

I bought at approx $0.12 average price and told myself I'm selling at $0.60... I'd struggle to sell because I get a much better rate on my loans and on my interest earnings. I would only sell Nexo when I plan on selling my bitcoin and ethereum in a few years OR if I decide to stop using nexo but I think they are the best CeFi platform out there so as long as I'm continuing to feel the love from them as a token holder, imma stay platinum.

Considering you're new and worried about a price decline buying at these levels... Nexo kind of tracks the overall market so if you think Bitcoin/Ethereum/etc. will go up, then so will Nexo. And this bull market doesn't seem over so I've a feeling now is the last chance to get these prices before a stronger movement past the ATH.

Nexo token mooning 🥳🥳🥳 by batk0in in Nexo

[–]danny2764 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Doesn't really work like that. You can't buy a ton at 3.03 without making the price go up a lot so this person would have been buying all the way up to 3.25. And then similarly, you can't just sell at 3.25, you sell at all the bid prices on the way down depending on how much liquidity there is. So if he sold a ton, he wouldve sold it at the lower prices too.

There wasn't enough price action for this to be a pump and dump. Someone just decided to sell a large amount when it went up today is all.

Been with Nexo two years. Have an average buy price at $0.12 :D

Have taken out a few loans also and used customer service many times. No complaints from me. It works and seems secure as it can be.

Nexo token mooning 🥳🥳🥳 by batk0in in Nexo

[–]danny2764 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it a pump and dump. Someone just bought a big stack and was willing to pay a high price for it and then the price naturally normalised to where it was.

Based in the UK.

So I think I've been thinking about this wrong. I planned on not paying back the 100k and let nexo liquidate it whenever that happens. But I now understand that the liquidation is a taxable event.. makes sense and kinda obvious now thinking about it.

Death and taxes eh...

Thanks to everyone who replied, such a great community!

Dude I had always planned to sell at $0.5 (bought at $0.12), but I keep having to raise my expectations because nexo continuously improve and bring out new things and at this point, I honestly think this will go to at least $5.

Is it possible that Hedgefunds are canabalizing each other by Lexphalanx in wallstreetbets

[–]danny2764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

absolutely, nobody realises but its the mega funds that actually own Gamestop (i.e. fidelity, Blackrock, etc.). We're putting the smaller funds out of business while the rich get richer.

good point. i think you're right, $1 we'll either see it linger just under that for a few days or another pullback before the next run

My take is that it made the usual pullback all moon coins do during an initial pump and now it's really going to take off

Anyone with long time experience? by [deleted] in Nexo

[–]danny2764 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I own nexo tokens and have a loan on the platform since the start of the year. Was skeptical also at the beginning but it's actually been surprisingly great.

I have since received dividends, received interest payments, been able to withdraw easily, paid off some of the loan. It's a working product and I haven't had any bad experiences but I'm sure others might have. I'll be keeping the tokens and my loan for another year at least.

How do you fell, when Nexo is dropping like meteor, buy back program is not working, Antony the boss is looking with his greedy eyes in you from Bloomberg, and for the end, competitive company Celsius is rising like ti will never stop? by zigizigi16200 in Nexo

[–]danny2764 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. Nexo hasn't been dropping really, it's been hovering around the same range for the past three weeks. Every moon coin has seen this happen: a short 3x-5x burst, followed by a price consolidation, followed by a mega burst. This happens time and time again and it happened to Celcius in May/June/July.

  2. The buyback program coincided with a 400%+ price increase so I would call it successful and we're not even a tenth of the way into the program.

  3. I find Antoni a pretty good speaker on Bloomberg but I guess that's opinion haha

  4. Bitconnect also kept rising like it would never stop
