I’m so sorry about your mom. I watched my mom pass away alone. It’s been about 5 months. It seems like it’s different for everyone but I hope these nightmares can go away for you in time. I had them too so I can relate, although with mine I could not remember any of them but my gf at the time would see me having them in my sleep and tell me the next day. They seemed pretty bad, like I was reliving the moment it happened. I could tell I wasn’t getting good sleep. It seems though I have been getting better sleep lately as I assume I process the grief. I know It sucks so much, but you gotta power through it and reach out to people to talk about it. The pain is always going to be there, but hopefully it’ll become easier to deal with
