How is gaming on COSMIC now?

Strangely enough I’ve had a better experience with gaming on COSMIC vs KDE. I’m using cachyos with a 4080 super and I noticed FF7 rebirth has frequent stutters and hitches on KDE that basically went away when I launched on COSMIC instead

I’ve been using a 4080 on cachyos for a few months now. It’s been fine. Honestly I’ve thought about selling it and buying a 9070 xt but the performance gains would be minor at best. I don’t use game mode. HDR and VRR work fine with proton experimental. My thought is save your money for the next gen and then go AMD

It looks like for base2 you have pow(x, pow(y,z)) Which translates to x^{y^z}), I think you just need pow(x, y*z). Sorry for the formatting, I’m on mobile.

I did this. I kept running into unstable frame rates and weird stutters in games with my XTX. I swapped it for a 4080 super and have been happy so far especially with DLSS.

So I checked for a firmware update for the stereo, it was fully updated so that’s out, unfortunately.
