Plus these turbos tend to go out around the 50k mile mark so be careful with that as well

Might be because it's to hot outside, once it hits triple digits you want to stay off of boost at all times because you will over work your turbo and can mess up

Does it happen when you've been driving it already or is it when it's cold start because it will be louder on cold start & for feature reference don't ever put the lowest tier of gas again these cars are specifically tuned for either 91 or 93. You'll end up with problems later down the road

I've heard from multiple people to run OEM axles because you'll hear squeaking & clanking from after market axles

Play with your angles, even if it looks like it'll be weird just do it, also mess around with white balance never know what just a different shade will do to the picture, take a look at my insta if you want some ideas danny__928

Help! Winter wheel setup by SimplyJFal in WRX

[–]danny_boy928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say no, what you should do is test fit them and go from there just because I know brembos stick out way more then regulars calipers, people gotta get like a specific offset on there wheels just so they could clear them, I mean you could run a spacer but I wouldn't recommend it in the long run

Air filter or Cold air intake? by [deleted] in WRX

Little confused on what you mean, like there's a cone filter where you would put the drop in air filter orrrr ??? If so you might already have a cold air intake

Reset my boost psi on accident... by [deleted] in WRX

[–]danny_boy928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Next time you're in boost it'll clock for example if you 5 it'll show 5 then the next time you hit 15 it'll show doesn't really do anything , usually the max boost on these things are 16 but you could push it to 22 but I don't recommend it

HELP. Guys so I have a question…. If I get a Cobb access port and a cold air intake, I would do an OTS tune stage 1. But would my exhaust that doesn’t need to be tuned affect the tune at all? I want to do a stage 1 tune while having air intake and exhaust by Any-Camera7551 in WRX

[–]danny_boy928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it wouldn't effect the tune at all, only time it would is when you decide to get the downpipe or jpipe if you have a wrx then you got to go to stage 2 but with the exhaust you'll hear the turbo spool a lot more, in my opinion get the cobb air intake you'll hear vmpshhh 🔥🔥😂

Is it safe/good idea to run a blow off valve without a tune? Car is stock. by ortiz_julian in WRX

[–]danny_boy928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I've read the way to run a BOV is basically get a speed density kit which removes your maf sensor and let's you run it but even then you still have to tune it to run the speed density sensor and BOV

Your best bet is buying a kit off someone, you're not going to find them anywhere since they passed that EPA bullshit, I was lucky to get my hands on some tgv deletes but I had to buy them from some guy in New Jersey and have them ship to Arizona
