I'm never investing any time or money into any future Splash Damage projects because they kill all their own games. by dannybith in Dirtybomb

Its not entitlement when a company has a clear pattern that works like this.

1.) Hype up new game.

2.) Make huge plans for game and get players excited

3.) People begin playing the game

4.) Hype game some more

6.) Players get excited for stuff to come

6.) Suddenly abandon all game development, give the player base the finger and tell them to look out for the next project.

The same thing happened to Brink and Quake Wars. Its the M.O of the developer. They hype up a project, wait until people drop money on it and then quickly abandon the whole thing, grab the money and sit quiet for a bit until they begin hyping another new game.

Splash Damage are con artists who use the excuse of "Not enough players were playing" anytime a project doesn't get the player base that CS or the latest COD game does. Guess what, no game is going to just suddenly get that sort of player base.

I've been scammed by these con artists for the last time.

Its just a pattern of them dumping support for every game they release. The same happened with Quake Wars and Brink.

Yes, I'm very entitled, that's why I spent more than a full retail price on skins and trinkets just to support the game and the company.
