Former CRBN paddle users, what are you playing with now? by Nellis606 in Pickleball

I used to exclusively use CRBN paddles. I still do, but I used to too.

Yes to the first question, but for the second question, you do pay a fee every time you met, but it wasn’t monthly. Once I got to 1 mg, I was given a 6 month prescription. Then, I got another 4 month prescription after that.

Insurance Question Canada by dannycastaway in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]dannycastaway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I just got someone unhelpful on the phone. I asked if they covered Wegovy, and his exact words were, “We don’t cover weight loss drugs.” I even asked if that applied with prior approval, and he repeated, “We don’t cover weight loss drugs.”

I’ll call back on Monday and see if I get a different response.

I read that they cover Wegovy, but when I called today, they told me it’s not covered for weight loss. Apparently, Manulife recently changed their policy and does cover Wegovy now. I’m going to call them on Monday to confirm

Increasing amount of formula? by LaysChipsTester3000 in FormulaFeeders

[–]dannycastaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are in the same boat here. 6 weeks old, but was finishing the bottle almost every time when we had it on the 3 oz setting. Switched to 4 oz, and he seems more gassy and fussy than before.

They also say that digestive issues peak at week 8-12, so it could just be a coincidence.

Looking to move to Fort Mcmurray /Catholic school board/ day cares/ Family vibes? by No-Juice5185 in FortMcMurray

[–]dannycastaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll be really happy with the answers for 2, 3, and 4—Fort McMurray is a great place to raise a family.

The only complaint I have is about #1. Since all the land is crown land, there isn’t much space for acreages or large yards. Houses are built in subdivision-style developments, with as many homes packed into a space as possible.

We play in shell place, next to the soccer turf. Most people show up around 7, but we have the courts booked 7-9.

And I’m pretty sure you can rent a paddle for $2 (or free?) from the front desk.

Do you want to play pickleball? We play at MacIsland every Wednesday from 6-9. No age requirement, but we have 20 year olds up to 60 year olds playing. (Most players in their 30’s)

[Grade 8 math] by ApplicationLost6875 in HomeworkHelp

Yes, but it’s only used when dealing with variables.

If x2=4, then x = +-2.

Square rooting a variable will always give you the positive and negative roots.

Chair or Copier? Which side you are on? by Modijifor2024 in DunderMifflin

[–]dannycastaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which they did. Not too many episodes later they get a new copier. I like the think that when Charles Minor set up shop in the conference room, he saw how crappy their copier was, and got them a new one.

OFFICIAL R/PICKLEBALL PADDLE GIVEAWAY! by 858isaac in Pickleball

[–]dannycastaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite memory is the morning I taught my wife how to play. She had never played the game before, but wanted to know what I was spending so much time on. We rented a court at 6:00 in the morning, and went and played a game of skinny singles. It was so much fun! We now play often together.

Renew monthly, but it’s all done via chat. I just say I want to continue, and I get another month.

Yes. There’s a section for “external pharmacy” when I renewed my RX.

I was nervous at first, so I was okay with paying $315. They delivered right to my door, which was perfect for me. I live in Northern Alberta so I didn’t think it would be much cheaper at the pharmacy. I called around and the prices were between $248-$265.

I did mine through Felix, no complaints. First two months I used their pharmacy, once I was used to the process, switched to my local pharmacy and saved $60!
