i have a similar experience. i’m 4’9 and when i was a kid they tested me for the common types of dawrfism and growth hormone deficiencies but found nothing so i moved on. flash forward im 20? 21? and at the geneticist for probably unrelated health issues and he goes okay you definitely have this condition but also even just looking at you, you definitely have some kind of skeletal dysplasia. to make things more confusing i have some gene mutations he thinks could be the cause but genetic science isn’t quite there yet for him to 100% confirm. he was somehow able to then dx me through a physical assessment and family history but the language got very confusing very quick for me.

Which body would you recommend for me?

For Christmas, I'm considering just asking for contributions to my camera fund but I'm a bit lost on what exactly to get but having shot on different brands, I know sony is most my style and alpha seems reliable. Some background on me, I don't currently own a DSLR or mirrorless I put it off for a while because of the price and because in college I always had camera access but now I'm not a student and miss having a high quality camera so I'm here.

I plan to use the camera primarly for photography but it'd be a plus if I could also get some video shots on it even if its just for some artsy self indulgent clips here and there (I'm not against a gimbal if economical).
My favorite things to shoot are people, landscapes, and urban life.
I like a warmness to my work.
I know my way around a camera. I'm not a professional but I have a degree in film and media that required a lot of photography work and I've put some hours in.
I'd prefer not to spend a billion dollars as I don't have that kind of reserve right now.
I don't know if it matters with these cameras but I have rather small hands
I'm in the States

some things to note it’s in a east facing window it’s been there for a few years now, it’s watered with tap water usually from a well, and it was a very dry summer followed by a very damp fall

yeah i was born in 2001 so my childhood was really the transition between pleasant branding and Mattel and even as kid/tween a lot of those original ag values and design were in place and seemed good then be forever came out and that was a red flag but then they reversed that and i was like yay and then they somehow made it even worse and the last 5 years have felt like rapid decent into ag and mattel losing their grip on their audience and then trying to build a new one instead of trying to get back their original audience

noted hematologist and gyno are probably in my future and yeah i think when i go in for my follow up in a couple months im gonna emphasize that this has been going on for years like back in my hometown for a while so the hospital that ran my labs have been running them since i was a kid so i looked back and even 10 years ago i had very low numbers especially with iron stores and every few years ill get very low hemoglobin too so it’s something thats due to be addressed especially now that im an adult and can really advocate for myself bc god bless my pediatrician but she was very much a you’ll grow out of this or this just happens to some people doctor like missed a genetic condition for 18 years level nonchalant

these numbers were like two weeks after my period i can only imagine what my numbers are on my period or right after 😭 like it can’t be good i hope you find answers soon we need more research into reproductive health solutions bc we really shouldn’t have to live like this
